Injury Designations - Commissioner can customize IR eligible injury designations
This setting would give the commissioner the power to change what injury designations are eligible for IR. For example, the commissioner could elect to only allow players with the IR designation into IR roster slots. They could also allow players with D (doubtful) to be IR eligible.
Commissioners would be able to toggle the following designations as IR eligible;
P - Probable
Q - Questionable
D - Doubtful
O - Out
IR - Injured reserve
SUSP - Suspended
NA - Not active
COVID-19 - COVID-19
Currently commissioners can't toggle what designations are IR eligible. O (out), COVID-19 and IR (injured reserve) are the only designations that are IR eligible.

Fantasy Football needs to amend the IR spot to be IR+. As it currently stands, if someone is moved to IR, and their designation changes to not eligible, you must remove them from IR before doing any other transactions (which means dropping a player), even if that player is still injured, listed as "questionable", and ruled out for the week ahead. An example is Bucky Irving leading up to Week 6. This entirely defeats the purpose of an IR spot, and fairness/playability of the game. This could be easily remedied with an IR+ slot that allows transactions of non-IR players per usual, and only when removing a player from IR do you need to properly reduce your main lineup to make space.

Add a setting that allows you to put doubtful players on IR. I had two players this past week who were marked as doubtful, and because of that, I couldn't grab their backups. My teammates ended up taking them, and soon after, they were marked as out. Sleeper has this setting, and it is great!

Why can't users put players that are labeled "Doubtful" on IR ??, Instead of having to wait until 90 mins before kickoff, when 100% of the time, they are not playing..and dealing with a serious injury ??

Why does Yahoo never allow commissioners to tend to their leagues? Way too many limits and restrictions on commish powers for a private league. Yahoo pretty much sucks

There have been/are currently players with a DOUBTFUL status that are already projected to get zero points, but not IR eligible. Both should be consistently updated at the same time.

Justin Jefferson is not being recognized on Yahoo fantasy as being eligible for IR when the NFL has him listed as such. This needs to be changed before waivers are processed tonight please

Either the commissioner should be able to change this, or the "O" designation should not be one that is allowed for an IR roster spot.

If you dont do exactly this just implement what you guys did for fantasy basketball when COVID was going wild which was a IL+ slot.

Why are we still waiting for this to be implemented?

I’ve been saying and wanting this for quite some time. Allow users to customize the IR spot. DOUBTFUL players 9 out of 10 times, do NOT play. Allow users to move DOUBTFUL players to the IR spot.

love it, hate that "Out" for one game makes you eligible for IR. IR spot was meant for long-term injuries, now it's an Out spot.

Mark Kelley commented
Agreed. And if a player is injured yet unsigned they should be ruled INJ or OUT to become IR eligible. Being ruled NA doesn’t make any sense at all

Are PUP and NFI considered IR designations?

Players who are "NA" or "SUSP" should be able to move into an non-bench position opening up a roster spot. Make the IR spot a IR/NA/SUSP slot.
