A UFO is very much like a yoyo on a string. The reason that the aliens never came back for the occupants of the Roswell UFO crash is because when the lightning bolt hit the ship, it traveled back along the energy corridor and blew up the whole alien control center. There was no one left alive to tell what happened. Hopefully they never find out ;)

Black type against a dark blue background makes it so hard to read that I have to adjust my screen

The blue background with dark print is vitually unreadable. This could not possibly have been tested before it was launched.
Change the news page background to a lighter colour. This is an awful and frustrating reading experience. Used to like Yahoo news pages, but it is terrible now.

The new page
The new page is less cluttered but we still have the same problem of drawing an ad --that must be endured -- by clicking on anything remotely interesting. Stop it! Nor do I appreciate evidence of tracking me with ads related to previous searches. Again, stop it! I'm thinking of going to duckduckgo.com
