I've given up on this site- disabling the ability to revisit our comments and interact here over the "news" has removed the last reason I had for using it.

Without comment history offered, no longer read or post at Yahoo. LOL Except to log in once in a while to see if any reason for me to return? Already set up alternative e mail address, removed Yahoo from being my home page and found an alternative even to Yahoo maps and driving directions.

Why on earth do you put a format in place that clearly isn't working even as well as the previous version? The functionality is not there for things like the comments and being able to even see or respond to them to an almost 99 percentile. All you can do enter your comment into the black hole of the comments section and see a reminder on the upper right that you have replies and/or thumbs up, which you cannot access except to see the first hald dozen comments or so that fit on the first grouping. After that, there isa new problem the additional comments button is there, but all that results from clicking on it is............ Get my point! ? ANd once you enter a reply to somene else's comments,it can be seen until you click and then it cannot be seen much less anything else.
