Yahoo News has begun a death spiral with the new "upgrade"....
The "new" news format is ridiculous. First, the fact that I have to click on a link to read 3 more sentences and then click another link to read the rest of the "news" is absurd. Often times the second click only takes you to a page that has 2-3 more sentences of content anyway. This double click requirement is forcing me to other news outlets because it is infuriating to have to open multiple tabs to read one article. Second the "sponsored" link are out of control. They pose as legit news in some fashion and then send you to a page that is a field of land mines for links to everything and anything except what I clicked on the link for to begin with. Your entire format change is driving lifelong Yahoo users like myself away from the site. I can't imagine anyone involved in the development process truly thinking this format change was a good idea and if they did please line them up collectively and fire them before your stock prices plummet back below the 2 year low they just bounced off of in the last few months.
