Abuse of News comments thumbs up and thumbs down mechanism
The ability to filter out the posts of a user and to quickly and indiscriminately thumb them down and up are a source of continious grief and harassment by "trolls"
Possible suggestion to restrict the abuse would include.
Making the Ignore list "double blind" to prevent stalkers from seeing your comments once you have flagged them as offensive and ignored
Remove the ability to thumb all the comments up or down indiscriminately by removing the thumbs up and down from the "sort by poster" view.

Add to that the ability to delete replies posted to a comment you wrote to eliminate trolls and stalkers like on youtube.
Add block function (so they can't write on your comments).
Have seen quite a few trolls and it's habitual and absurd behavior.
Yahoo doesn't take any such complaints seriously, sadly.
