This feedback post is regarding Yahoo Celebrity News not Yahoo News.
Yahoo Celebrity and its writers who provide Taglines as responses to Celebrity quotes and Celebrity actions/activities has made is constantly evident that the Yahoo.com organization is does not have respect for any decency or values (other than philanthropic celebrity postings with pics). John Mayer's recent statement that the song, specifically our U.S. National Anthem is a "weak song" clearly reflects his regard for the National Anthem itself. While Mr. Mayer has the right to make this statement, he should in fact really stop and reflect on the true intent of the Anthem, meaning the soldiers on the countless battlefields who have been injured or given the ultimate sacrifice, their lives, to protect our Flag and our democratic way of life in the United States. This is a sacred song to many Americans. When Yahoo Celebrity then respond with a statement/tagline that Mr. Mayer's "National Anthem" statement was a unifying one, Yahoo Celebrity could not have been more off base and outlandishly incorrect. Mr. Mayer calling our National Anthem a "weak song" is not a "unifying statement" under any circumstances or conditions. Mr. Mayer can feel or say whatever he pleases concerning the recent NLF football player's fallout concerning sitting out during the singing of the National Anthem. But for Yahoo Celebrity to endorse his fractious statement is just more of the pattern of outrageous statements by Yahoo Celebrity. Yahoo Celebrity appears to show the Americans just how truly off base its organization is with the genuine heartfelt sentiment and sacred values of the American public. Like many of your other Yahoo Homepage viewers, I am sickened and disheartened by the Yahoo (Celebrity website) organization. It is my hope and prayer that there will be an overall change within this department of Yahoo as it most certainly does not speak for "us" or "we" even though its writers frequently use those pronouns when espousing a position and then posting it (as a tag line).
