Can you please just remove comments section from news thread? It's a venue for ignorance to propagate from all directions, removes any sort of accountability or responsibility for ones words, gives credibility to non-facts and false news with increased audience visibility - and in the end, what people think - shouldn't matter with relation to the actual news itself. It doesn't matter what people think or say in the end, most of it's drivel and is really part of the problem with it comes to false information, inappropriate comments and partition building. It may have been originally an idea for discussion, but it's really used to vent, snipe, infuriate/incite/troll and degrade the news. Please remove comments - let people 'converse' on 'social networks' or to the strong-minded, in person. Please.
If all news providers do this - it will be good. For the good. Trust in that.
