Articles with scrolling pictures are preferable to slide shows.
Scrolling through an article with pictures is better than clicking through slide shows that take too much time to load. More people would scroll thru to the end and ads could appear on the right. Unless I'm really interested in the "teaser" pic, I move on. Who wants to waste time waiting for a picture/story that may not even appear?
