Please prioritize "most recent" over "most popular" in comments section
Your new comments section prioritizes "most popular" over "most recent" meaning people have to choose to see "most recent" comments and they are funneled to see "most popular". This has lead to the first people that comment on an article being the only comments that get replies or get rated.
I used to be able to comment and then have conversations with people in real time because they are seeing my comment pop up and not a string of "most popular" comments from 24 hours ago. Now when I comment I'm lucky to get a single "thumbs up", no one can get a thumbs down, and I never get any replies. Why would anyone comment if they aren't going to get any feedback of any kind?
Commenting now is like peeing in the wind and without your comments section, which used to be awesome, I have no real use for your Website. Getting near instantaneous feedback on your thoughts and being able to discuss/argue with people was very gratifying and was the reason I read Yahoo for all these years.
Please have most recent comments pop up first instead of most popular. Thank you.
