Please stop the pop-ups for the blog meter in the newsfeed.
How could it even possibly seem like a good idea to have the continual pop-ups in the news feed for the comments meter? Why would anyone perceive it to be beneficial to anyone who is trying to read the news to have that news covered up by a completely unessential meter showing how many people have commented on other articles? All it does is cause users to leave Yahoo News and go to other news sites, thus depriving Yahoo's advertisers of any potential audience. Do the geniuses who implemented these pop-ups even bother to use Yahoo News? Surely if they did, they would quickly see how bad an idea it was in the first place.
