Regarding the menu bars on the entire website
You can bump page views 25% by popping the menu bar items at least 2 days a week until people get an idea to start using it. I recommend Mondays and Tuesdays. Also the main photo section on home page show one headline from each menu item. Example. News, Entertainment, Lifestyle. I think you may be doing that already. This will also get people used to the idea YHOO has more to offer than what is just on the home page.
