Hi,
Our Engineering team is looking into this. If you could let us know what about the “show less” option isn’t working we would appreciate it. Please provide specific publishers if possible.

The "show less" option is not available now. Please let us block feeds from specific news sources such as Huffpost.

Looks like yahoo has had ample time to "look into this" why isn't it fixed yet?

You only have 100 t0 150 news items now, there must be room for at least 500 of your ********* inane "news" items. Yahoo is not the same as it used to be. Did you just hire someone right out of journalism school that has to prove themselves? Or has the person in charge of this feature ever gone to school?

I have never shown an interest, nor searched for anything about this person. I find it completely revolting and awful that every time I look at Yahoo news something about this comes up. Please stop. It's disgusting.

I do not want to receive particular news sources. How do I delete them? If no response or no way to remove news sources, then I will have to use a different homepage,

Quit duplicating stories throughout the news feed. We only need to see a story once.

I should be able to decide what items are posted on the Yahoo opening page especially offensive articles I do not wish to see.

I have stopped reading the articles. There is no journalistic talent. The article about Brett Favre was disappointing as the article dripped with contempt and division. Not uplifting nor fair.

Yes, go and live in your echo chamber reading only what you want to read.

I will continue to avoid Yahoo news until you give me the option to remove completely disgusting headlines about popping zits from the newsfeed. I have never searched for this type of content, it completely grosses me out and I will continue using Google News instead of Yahoo until you give me the option to tell you to not put this type of content in the feed. Like..why. Why would you do that over and over.

When opting to show less from a media contributor it would be useful to be able to provide mode feedback as to why the contributor is problematic. Personally I find highly opinionated articles that don't adhere to good journalistic principles bothersome. Maybe a few radio button options for feedback.
Something like:O Offensive content
O Opinionated
O Not related to headline
O Not newsworthy

Nextshark broadcasts every stupid thing that people do to people who just happen to be Asian. Is it all about racism? I am Asian myself and am absolutely tired of these titles filling half of Yahoo News. It sews fear and hatred (of America?) with nothing constructive in return.

Why does Facebook remove content on one person and punish them while placing the exact same content back online for another person saying it meets community standards? A friend of mine had a picture removed and her account suspended, she appealed and won so the picture was reposted back onto her wall. About a week later they dredged up two accounts where I had posted the exact same picture on two different pages and I also appealed and for some odd reason my posts neither one meet community standards! It seems to me that different people have different standards to meet...or else Facebook has hired someone with a "God complex." They won't respond to anything I have asked them or any of my complaints, maybe Yahoo can find out what their deal is.

National Review has long been known as a right wing mouthpiece. The Independent from England also appears to be a right wing mouthpiece. I would like the ability to delete these sources from my feed.

This news outlet is much too "Enquiresque" in its content and style.....not at all objective newsworthy articles.

Provide a way in which to have readers report articles when there are errors in the reporting.

There are some sources (Huffpost, for one) that I am weary of; But when I ask for less, it seems they pop up more. Is that possible? Anyway, I think we should be able to eliminate a source completely on our page; Huffpost in particular seems to sound the same notes over and over again; their "news" seems more like editorials. I prefer more centrist coverage.

I update my preferences for hiding articles everyday. Today I log in and the first 12 articles are all from sources ive indicated that I dont want to see. Its pretty obvious that these "news" sources are ads disguised as articles. Total garbage I'm not even interestes in using yahoo news anymore. Your content is all ads for womens fashion and celebrities and products to sell. Should call it yahoo marketplace rather than news. Super disappointing.
