Women's car rally event coverage
The reason I am getting in touch is that I look after the English-language media side of things for a new event that’s launching in China. It’s a car rally but what makes it unique is that all the drivers are women. It’s a great story of women empowerment as well as sport of course but also environmental awareness (it’s the only motorsport event in the world with ISO 14001:2015 certification), lifestyle, business etc. It’s an offshoot of the Rallye des Gazelle, which takes place in Morocco each year (for the past 29 years) but now it’s branching out to Asia as well. There will be a promotional event in China next month with 10 teams taking part and then the rally itself will take place next year.
I will be sending out regular press releases and pics and we’ll also have highlights footage available. I wondered whether Yahoo News would be interested in featuring these amazing women. If so, who would be the best person to send the information to?
