    I agree with old is better
    now I have to log in I'm already logged you took me out when I asked to put yahoo back are you going to sell my information now ,again

    No, they do't need my permission. Or my advertising dollars either. If everyone would just vote with their pocketbook and go to gmail or another format, perhaps they would get the idea. (Besides, it's only us boomers that still have yahoo. Younger people use MUCH COOLER FORMATS!)

    i hate being told what I MUST do. It's the government, it's my boss, and I won't take it from Yahoo, also!

    Boosting for a fellow user. It worked for me too. From another post by Kristof Erkiletian:

    POSSIBLE WAY TO GET BACK CLASSIC try this, it DOES work for me
    PLEASE HELP ME AND KEEP COPYING AND PASTING MY INSTRUCTIONS HERE

    1) Open and log into sh*tty new Yahoo email if you aren't already
    2) Copy this text: https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails
    3) Open a new Chrome browser window while keeping sh*tty one open
    4) Paste the text into new brower window
    5) Close sh*tty new yahoo browser window
    6) if it worked, BOOKMARK copied link in new window (this is important as it will become your goto-button everytime you log in to get back to Classic)
    7) Raise middle finger of victory and KEEP SENDING YAHOO YOUR SENTIMENT

    I want basic mail back. I shouldn't have to spend hours trying to figure out how to do this. Why can't you leave it alone if I don't press the button to change to your new format, which I don't like? I want basic back but I don't see the option under settings.

    I absolutely HATE that Yahoo keeps changing my email format to a ****** version! Each and every time I have gone back to the old format which I like and want. Now, as noted on another comment--there isn't an option to go back.

    I would really like the old format back. If i wanted a new email i would have changed to another provider.

    The new version is slower and is not practical at all. I want my old yahoo mail version please!

    I have tired the new version three times now (today makes four) and have switched back every single time, which was easy to do. Now I don't see the option to do so anymore. I prefer the old version for many reasons and do NOT want to be forced to the new version with no option to go back, which is now the case.
