TO GET BACK CLASSIC try this, it DOES work for me
1) Open and log into sh*tty new Yahoo email if you aren't already
2) Copy this text: https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails
3) Open a new Chrome browser window while keeping sh*tty one open
4) Paste the text into new brower window
5) Close sh*tty new yahoo browser window
6) if it worked, BOOKMARK copied link in new window
7) Raise middle finger of victory and KEEP SENDING YAHOO YOUR SENTIMENT
NOTE: Everytime you log back into blahoo it will default to the new sh*tty format. If you have the link i showed you bookmarked, simply log into the sh*tty one and then immediately click the bookmarked link. It should bring you straight back to Classic.Thank you Stephanie and Mudar for backing me up; please feel free to re-post my instructions periodically. Most insulting is that the only reason we seem to be getting away with this is that blahoo admin are not even reading a single word people write here. MFOV and good luck to all.

I just went to Outlook mail..
it is very similar to Yahoo old basic mail..
Yahoo lost me-- the new mail is horrible! -

Kristof Erkiletian is a live saver, check his comment and you'll find the solution. Very simple: Open a new email and keep it open then open https://mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?action=mails in a new window.

I hate the new format, The old one was not broken. I am old with bad eyes,. and the NEW light gret text is next to impossible for me to see. Like where the delete tab is. I want to be able to switch back to the old format. This one sucks. I also do not want all of my contacts showing all the time. I just want the old format back please.

Again, and again, do not want this format, obviously no one else does. this is hard to navigate, not NOT user friendly, cannot print the email properly, which is absolutely paramount to my business, and do not like the white background. it just is super ******* the eyes, like do you want to contribute to vision issue????? Leave well enough alone, unless you take a vote on it.
