The article on Lithium was intriguing, yet left so much left to say unchallenged in comments. Many forget that Afghanistan is RICH in Lithium deposits, so it would be advisable to weigh the costs of US production vs Afghanistan production on a per ton basis, considering all economic & environmental aspects of producing said raw material, as to who has the financial advantage to corner this market forward.
Not everyone on this site is looking for a fight. Some of us just want to share knowledge & remind others of past articles, that your reporting fails to mention.
Sorry that I have a good memory, but I'm looking out for what's best for us as a Global Economy and who can get it done at the best price to make it a feasible option as a replacement to fossil fuels.
I've been one of several voices that have pleaded to re-open the comment option on your site. I think you need to weigh the options & discover that you're actually hindering the advancement of new ideas to make a better World. It's up to you- but I'm hoping you make you make the correct decision.
