Glad you got rid of the comment section. Most commenters were egregious racists, Confederate sympathizers, blind in one eye, and unable to
...see out of the other.
Folks do not need to express their racist proclivities on Yahoo, since they dilute the intellectual content of the site as a whole. The "comment" section was almost always, scraped from the absolute bottom of the barrel of Confederate sympathizers, racists and "stars and bars enthusiasts", still hurting about losing the Civil War. It is so embedded in our society, on an hourly continuum, that none of us need to be reminded of the intense preoccupation of hatred espoused by individuals who seek to abuse their right to engage in freedom of speech and expression, even when they are wrong. Suspending the comment section was the best thing to do. TROY S. McNEILL

It would appear that the United States, two separate countries, combined into one, with each blocking the progress of the other. And once where 'hemispherical' differences may have been really significant, that is no longer the case. Our United States has come far enough to be broken into 4 or 5 lesser, independent components. And, the Donald, could be president of one of those. Each would have its own trade agreements, taxation systems and so forth and we should examine any perceived benefits of such an Atlas Puzzle scenario.
