Why are other allowed to comment? I see them appearing the last hour same day, etc. I am way more conservative and benign in my comments. Something is wrong, or comments are now geared to be one sided? I can't even comment with the word "Test".

I see that you have reenabled commentary. Following either the login link or the sign up link does not allow commentary on articles. All it does is reload the page. Address this immediately.

Ban the word broad

Your censoring is way off. You allow a man to make derogative statements about women, calling them "broads" and "they are only good for riding my pole", but if I call him an incel my comment is deleted. If I use a Yahoo emoji, I get flagged. "Your comment contains an emoji and may not be published." And then you delete it. Why do you have emojis if we can't use them? You also have articles which depict nudity, like Kendall Jenner posing naked, but if I mention the words naked or nude, my comment is rejected. Time after time you post articles with words we cannot use in comments. Perhaps "broad" should be one of the banned words, unless of course you too are sexist.

What a bunch of gutless worthless cowards. "Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting"

I have a suggestion for future news. Only print stories like "Rancher Jose Sanchez" in Texas is shipping 4,000 cattle to market in Hereford, TX. or Mary Lou has a special recipe for German Chocolate Cake or the Ladies Garden Club is having a fundraiser to raise money for the food pantry in Neb. or Cynthia Smith is marrying Bill Jones in Minnesota. Maybe those stories will be acceptable for your sensitive ears. As a educated teacher and professor, you are violating the First Amendment in principle. If comments are really bad and use bad language, I can see your point in suspending these comments, but suspending comments based on one word that you don't like is another word censorship . What is going to happen to your news, you will lose your audience over time. Then you will need less people to do the jobs as they did before. Is that what you want ? Be careful what you wish for . I sincerely ask you to consider what I said and hopefully do the rational thing. It makes more sense overall. If you do not want to consider what I pointed out, just do away with all controversial news and the comments' section. This is what dictators in various countries have done in the past and the present. Hopefully we are not there yet.

I find it amazing that you continue to censor comments within you yahoo sections. I have posted several comments what you have "found" to be unacceptable and have never understood why.

My comment describing historical facts was rejected, perhaps by people who don't want to talk about racism. I don't believe the community violated guidelines, but trolls may have jumped on the comment:
Your reply on Florida reinstates controversial congressional map backed by Gov. Ron DeSantis has been rejected as it contains content that is in breach of our community guidelines.

The reason they don't want to teach history is because of the previous methods they used to prevent Black people from voting. In 1920, the Orlando police chief led a white mob to neighboring Ocoee after some African-Americans voted in the presidential election. They killed 33 people and ran the Black families out of town. The community lost everything, similar to Rosewood, but I don't believe reparations were given. On Christmas 1951, a firebomb resulted in the death of a an African-American husband and wife, NAACP activists who sought to register voters. Floridians who who support these new laws should be ashamed of themselves. If DeSantis and others don't want their children and children's children to feel guilty--do the right thing now. While you can't change the past, don't revert back to racist voter suppression tactics. Kids know what is motivated by hate and that's what leads to guilt and depression. -

You posted an article from AV Club about Spiderman crashing at the Avengers Campus at Disneyland. Nowhere in the "article" does it explain that it was a robot that crashed. Here's just one line of the article which clearly indicates a person died. "We present footage of the moment of his untimely demise below." If this was supposed to humor or satire, it missed it's mark entirely. I had to go to more reliable news sources, other than Yahoo News to find out what really happened. Pay attention to the content you publish.

Stop trying to dictate, it is a free country we live in and not everyone is going to agree or disagree, we should be able to voice our own opinions without you trying to take away our voices because not all of us agree with your company and your company politics. I honestly believe your company and any other company, government, radical groups, ect. should not tell me or anyone else who I (we) have to like, how to raise my (our) children, what is right and wrong to say and oh you can't say that it might hurt feelings, that it is wrong to disagree with radical groups or you're racist ( which is bull****), children are sent to school to learn so they can grow, be able to further their education, achieve their dreams, make a place for themselves in the so call world we live in, not to learn about LGBTQ, Gender ID and so forth ( all of that should be left to the parents and when and if they wish to discuss that with their children when they feel the time is right or necessary). What happened to free speech? What happened to reporting real news and not ****? What happened to real news reporters that told the news and truth and kept their political agenda out of it? That left with the Barbara Walters, ect. generation, now we are left with this new **** that is not worth turning the TV on or listening to the radio because please forgive them for they no not what the truth is. There is so much more that could be said but Yahoo wants to play dictatorship and not allow free speech or anyone to have an opinion.

Why do you continue to filter out comments that are neither offensive nor obscene. I find your continued practice of censorship to be contrary to the rule of "free speech. In other words, and in language that you might better understand, YOU SUCK !!!!!
