COMPLAINT - Ever since Donald Trump was elected every news article that yahoo news is featuring is a negative article against him - im not necessarily a supporter but its essential to our democracy that news reporting be done in an unbiased method or way. Yahoo leans too far towards the left. All journalist, in America anyway, are to be objective when presenting the news. This is not the case with Yahoo which presents only the left side of the political picture. Yahoo should report all sides and not favor, "a one sided paper", as it has done now, for many years.

On August 17, 2020, Yahoo! News published Rob Waugh’s article, Vegans urged to switch to cow milk instead of soya milk to save the planet. Rob in his article builds a case that it would benefit the planet if people switched from drinking soy milk made from soy beans to cows milk. Rather than quoting actual science, Rob quotes from The Sustainable Food Trust and its founder and chief executive, Patrick Holden. According to Wikipedia, Patrick Holden is a dairy farmer. Obviously we have a conflict here. Rather than carry out actual journalism, this article quotes an advocate for his own industry to bash the competition. This is not the first time Yahoo! has published flawed articles on the subject of plant-based milks verses cows milk. (see also Francesca Specter’s article July 19, 2019, Quarter of Brits are drinking plant-based milks, but are the dairy-free alternatives healthier? )
As an expert in clinical nutrition having specifically studied and lectured extensively on plant-based dietary components compared with dairy foods for more than 20 years, all plant-based milks exceed the nutrition of cows milk unequivocally. This is has been extensively studied in three prospective cohorts of Adventists in North America: Adventist Mortality Study, Adventist Health Study, and Adventist Health Study-2. Cows milk is associated with increased rates of cancer, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, obesity, osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease whereas plant foods decrease the risk of each of these. Cows milk is a poor source of calcium, as cows milk is high in phosphorus which binds the calcium and prevents its absorption. Green leafy vegetables are the best source of calcium.
Regarding the impact of producing cows milk on the environment compared with producing any of the plant-based milks, dairy milk produces nearly three times the greenhouse emissions. Dairy milk production uses 10 times the land required for oat milk production. While almond milk and rice milk require considerable amount of water to produce, they don’t require as much as dairy milk. If you want an actual scientific article on the subject, please see the BBC’s article comparing dairy milk production to plant-based milks which can be found here:
The below illustration sums things up in a glance.
As a consumer who has used a Yahoo! mail account as his primary account for more than 20 years, I expect a quick retraction of this rubbish or you’ll find this scientist abandoning Yahoo! and moving to gmail.

Give people the option to see your biased activism or not. I don't trust the biased media activism. I want real news and I will search for it but I don't want to see it every time I go to check my email. I have been researching ways of switching to another service. If you can let me know how to not have news in my email, I might stay. Please advise ASAP because I'm sick of there "news".
