Don't kick people off Yahoo news comments for pointing out your mistakes.
Hello,
I'm a journalist who commented of the USA today's story published by Yahoo news. The story was not marked opinion. But it was infact an opinion piece. The headline read as follows:
USA TODAY Sports - Golfweek
Lynch: The Saudis put a horse’s head in Brooks Koepka’s bed. He couldn’t refuse their offer
Eamon Lynch

Under comments I said that the headline was misleading and click-bait even though in the lead you stated that it was a "metaphoical horses head." I said that it was a journalism 101 mistake. The headline quotes the writer of the story, Lynch for Lynch's own story. That would be like Mr. Smith says _____ in the headline and the writer is Mr. Smith trying to get you to read Mr. Smith's story. Yahoo news kicked me off of the comments section for saying that. This is cenorship in the extreme. Please restore my comment privileges and I promise I will be nicer in the comments section in the future. Thank you.

Exact same issue. I corrected an article that claimed a woman was the second driver in a 4 car pile-up when the woman's own words were "3 cars rear ended me". Um... doesn't that make her car the one in front? Totally banned from Yahoo's comments section for trying to point that out in the comments section. if you have had the same problem, get screen grabs of all of the hateful comments they do allow, while you can't even post "hello". Use "print screen" (PrtSc) on a laptop or press the volume down at the same time as the power button on a phone. Put the image in a Paint application and show it to other people wherever you can post it on the internet, such as free speech groups on twitter, so everyone is warned about Yahoo. Don't let this censorship remain Yahoo's secret.

exact same issue, i can copy a published comment and re publish it only to be immediately rejected, stop censoring free speech, it used to mean something but yahoo does not care about the constitution apparently!!

I have the same issue except I have no clue why I was banned. I have been trying for over four months to get reinstated on the comments section. I even paid for support only to be told they have no access to the news comments section. I was told to get to openweb support. Which I have done, and not gotten a single reply from them either. How do you have a service that your own PAID tech support cannot support!!!!?????

I agree. I think my account has been locked out. I had a comment with a lot of Caps in it. Nothing demeaning or insensitive, only caps, and now it seems I can't comment at all without being rejected. Even if I comment "Thank you" What's going on with my account? I have seen far worse comments that gets posted, not sure why the double standard.
