A Yahoo user who said he was a military veteran with a purple heart criticized how Israel treats Palestinians, so the Yahoo moderator doxed him. Turns out the military veteran was a man in his 70s living in a dangerous city in California. I reported this to Yahoo customer care, so the Yahoo moderator permanently removed my ability to make any comments on articles and removed from my account all of the comments I had ever made for over two decades with Yahoo, a total of 2.7 thousand comments which had received 6.9 thousand likes. AOL has an identical format with articles and comments section, except AOL allows conservatives to comment. You don't even need an AOL email account, and every conservative comment I've posted that Yahoo has removed, AOL has no problem with, and allows me to debate politics with other users. Don't stay with Yahoo while they enrich themselves by silencing you.

Hello. While we cannot speak about specific comments, policy interpretations, or actions action in relation to specific comments outside of with their original poster, we seek to apply the Yahoo Community Guidelines as evenly, fairly, and objectively as possible.

Yahoo had an article that claimed a woman was in the 2nd car in a 4 car collision when the woman's own words (in a graphic in the article) showed that her car was at the front of the 4 car collision. I pointed this out in the comments section, never insulting anyone. I just wrote "If 3 cars were behind her, and there are 4 cars in all, doesn't that put her car at the front?" So the moderator removed my ability to comment forever afterwards because I had corrected Yahoo's article. So I came here and posted about this experience, and Yahoo went through and removed every single comment I had made about it in this feedback section as well! They are that upset when readers correct them! It appears I'm forever silenced now, just because I corrected Yahoo's article. Every comment I've ever had removed on Yahoo simply quotes established facts, often citing my sources, and those sources tend to be government websites or research centers like Pew Research. So guess which political party the statistics in my removed comments support?

A few days ago, this complaint was in 1st place, so I pointed that out to Yahoo. They responded by removing my reply and ranking this complaint 3rd. I suspect it is actually the 1st place ranked complaint. The fact that half of the top ten comments are about this exact same bias problem should tell Yahoo something (or should have, over a decade ago when complaints about this bias began topping the top ten complaints in the feedback forum).

I've selected "Show less Huffington Post". Had that setting for over a year now, but three of the first ten stories in my news stream today are still Huffington Post (and that's typical for Yahoo as well). How many stories would be from Huffington Post if I never had selected this preference?

This complaint that Yahoo is hopelessly left has been a top rated complaint for over three years now, but they still aren't making any attempt to balance their news.
