Same problem. Hit reply button to reply to comment someone sent me and it just brings up the article instead of taking me to the comment like it always did in the past. Especially aggravating when I am trying to correct misinformation/lie.

It seems like other people are having the same problem. I make a comment, someone comments back to me (shows up in my email) I try to respond back and can't! No matter what I try to do to respond, it will not go back to that persons comment. Please fix.

What about going back to the feature that identifies the general geographic location of the party posting a comment or reply?

This is the single most frustrating issue I experience on Yahoo. It makes it impossible to have any kind of dialogue through the comments, as you have to manually search through dozens or sometimes hundreds of posts to find yours and any responses to it. Please fix this!

Yahoo is clearly being ripped off by OpenWeb. How much does Yahoo pay these people for them to NOT manage the comment section? Or is this working exactly the way Yahoo wants it to?

Yahoo is very incompetent. They fixed this for about a day,then went back to the failure mode. They can't program there way out of a wet paper bag. they would all be fired at my place of work.

Yahoo had it right for a while, now must we toggle through all the Comments? Why not let the conversation flow? Find a way to Search for the Unique user names, enable direct reply? Also, juvenile insults are distracting, but the Report function limits options. Saying I am mentally ******** isn't justified. Too many lowlifes on this site.

As a person who has developed software since the mid 80 IMO the current way comments are handled makes Yahoo unprofessional and unreliable

Same issue. Not only does the feed jump while you're actively typing a comment, when you click the reply button in an email notification if someone replies to your comment, it takes you to the page comment section, flashes your comment for about 2 seconds, then loads the full comment section, and your comment is now buried. You also can't find the comments by clicking on your own avatar. Many don't even show up anymore. It's been going on for several weeks. Switching browser, device, etc. doesn't remedy the issue. These pages also grind Chrome down to a halt. What are you loading in the backgrounds of these pages that burns through resources so horribly??

Well, congratulations bozos. In the 8+ hours since I posted last, it now doesn't work AT ALL. I can't get any of the "reply" or "show in conversation" buttons to go anywhere near where they're supposed to. I think it's time to switch sites.
