corona virus
Have a small box on the top of all pages that shows the total number of corona virus cases in the US, the number of deaths, and the % death per confirmed cases. Can possibly add time/date stamp.
Completely revamp corona virus page, show above, show US map with cases, US map with deaths, table listing all states and territories with cases, deaths, percentage, map and table showing just cases and deaths of unknown origin to show reflect community spreading, can make this a heat map to show intensity like done for weather.
Can hire me PhD to edit.

Turn on comment and your bloggers/authors should try to remain unbaised when posting articles. Prefer news over commentary.

Return the comment section or risk being abandoned.
You replace community with video ads after a couple paragraphs of a story. It's distracting and you wind up with disinterested viewers.

Allow article rating and/or ranking
I barely use Yahoo because I do not like the content or the articles, many are opinions or incorrect and most do not represent my opinions and likes. Give users a way to rate the articles and give user a way to better select what they read and then accurately USE that feedback to be of value to ALL your users, not just some.

Our Voice
The article on Lithium was intriguing, yet left so much left to say unchallenged in comments. Many forget that Afghanistan is RICH in Lithium deposits, so it would be advisable to weigh the costs of US production vs Afghanistan production on a per ton basis, considering all economic & environmental aspects of producing said raw material, as to who has the financial advantage to corner this market forward.
Not everyone on this site is looking for a fight. Some of us just want to share knowledge & remind others of past articles, that your reporting fails to mention.
Sorry that… -

Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting. Yeah so when is that going to happen. After the elections I bet. Who can't see you coming Yahoo you ultra left bent newspaper.

You fall by the wayside, with the other "reporting agencies" that offer no way to make our feelings known... i.e. gone
Am curious on HOW you will gauge your reporting as effective (or otherwise) with no comment feedback.
I will put up with this temporarily, as a low priority informative...but NOT for long... -

Now is the Winter of our discontent with the Ottawa Covid vaccine evaluation committee; a Nobel in Chemistry or Physics must immediately be appointed to head it up, then the Oxford Astrazenica vaccine shall be approved by Tuesday, the Brits approved it a fortnight ago! Shots in Ontario arms can then be achieved within a week. QED

Bring the Comments Back!
Reading the comments section always restored my hope in humanity because most of them were people disagreeing with whatever ******* political statements the article's author made. Removing the comments section is just another stunt. Yahoo is truly trying to convince the public that their biased way of thinking is collective. It's not. Bring back the comments.

Please keep your "Survey" limited to maximum of one week!
Because of so many important issues in the news these days please resume your Comment Section ASAP! It is especially important for Trump supporters like myself to defend the misinformation presented on Yahoo News on a daily basis. It is highly important that readers receive opposing information daily via Comments in order to give them a balanced and fact-based picture of what's actually transpiring in the news. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Comment Section
Yahoo is a media hack organization that stopped the comment section right before the election. What a crock of ****. I will be moving to a new news outlet if this does not come back.

Yahoo comments
Please bring back the comments to yahoo articles. Not sure why you have taken this feature away. Stifling the opinion of your readers is a real disservice. I glean so much from hearing the opinions of your readers no matter what their political bent. Can you please take a moment to tell me when this feature will return and if not why it will not return?
One fo the great features of Facebook is the comments to articles for the news sites I visit.
Thank you

Be fair in your reporting. Not just left wing propoganda. Allow free expression and free speech.
Do actual unbiased reporting. Allow equal time to all parties involved and stop silencing stories or people that have different opinions. If its to difficult then Yahoo should not be in the news business and turn itself off.

Give the people back free speech!
Engaging in lively and oftentimes hilarious debate was the best part of yahoo. Now there is zero reason to even bother clicking on your site. It’s not the same as Facebook nor should we be forced over there.
-
I don't blame you for taking down the comments section. Most of your articles are not news but propaganda.
News should be facts reported. Your news section is mostly left wing propaganda. Facts are few and far in-between. It would not be as bad if a discussion was made about an issue with both sides represented. That is seen very seldom in Yahoo's news articles. More unfiltered news would be appreciated.

Yes, put BACK the comment section. And I would like to say also that Google banned ME from You Tube, just for slagging Trump,!
I will be glad to tell you all about how I got NO warning from GOOGLE,
contrary to their own POLICY, and feel that I never broke their rules..
and yet, they took away my only source if videos and music in a
pandemic lockdown---while Trump carried on Tweeting. I would like
it to be a human interest story/non-controversial, but about free speech -
Bring back the comments
Look, bring back the comments. We don't need a safe space where you hold our hands and pat them, saying there-there. We like to be able to poke fun at each other and to vehemently disagree with each other. Most of us can recognize a bot when we see one, we know not to click on dodgy links when posted. The only thing you're doing is uniting both the left and right against you. We want to be able to talk and yell at each other.
