Please allow away so that certain groups do not have access to some personal news feed.
I get news from some sights that are nothing more than radical right, fascist nonsense ... I am occasionally conned by their headlines into the beginnings of reading their articles.
I do not know how Yahoo determines who gets a soapbox on my page ... but some of these things (that call themselves News) just aren't. CNS is one of these ... I don't want to see their trash.
It would be great if Yahoo were to include a button that would allow you to ban certain " news" websites from your feed; after all it should be our choice…

Let people pick their sources
You have a problem when give people the choice of what SUBJECT they do and don't wanna hear, but you don't let them pick and choose their SOURCES. I occasionally get get "news" from "news"max, a hyper partisan, absurdly right wing propaganda outlet that doesn't actually report on anything aside from fake news that riles up conservatives, and it's nothing I want anywhere near my feed. You should let people choose whether or not they want any certain non-yahoo, Reuters, or AP article on their feed. I understand, yahoo wants people to read yahoo articles, and Reuters and Associated Press…

Stop spamming the "news" section with "sponsored ads."
Cease and desist with the annoying "Sponsored Ads" disguised as news links. Provide a clear method to disable these insidious, alienating, exploitative commercials.

yahoo sucks, try real news
Try not sucking. Jenners, Kardashians, all can fall in a crevasse tomorrow. Try rel news, not that you are capable.

I want to DELETE articles off of my Homepage
Why can't we delete News Stories from our Homepage that we aren't interested in anymore? Many of my content preferences are being disregarded now and I keep seeing articles on things I have expressed a "dislike" for in the past. There seems to be no way to manage the content on my Homepage anymore.

when you read an article & go back to read another you should be taken to where you left off, but you're not. Really annoying!!!
After reading an article, then going back to read another, you are not taken to where you left off and have to scroll thru many, many articles to get to where you left off. I scroll thru stories/pictures that I never want to see or read again, but being taken way back, I have to see them again.

Your "news" coverage is slanted so far to the left-wing liberal viewpoint it has become laughable
Your "news" coverage is slanted so far to the left-wing liberal stance I have stopped reading it. Why write just for one political class? You seem to write only in support of gay marriage, against Christian viewpoints and incessantly about global warming. Can't you widen your horizon and realize not everyone has drunk the liberal kool-aid?

Revamp news feed
You really need to work on the quality of your news feed. Half of it is just thinly overlaid advertising garbage laden with annoying pop-ups. I don't plan on returning to it for anything other than the mail service.

Customizing / Personalizing Yahoo News Page -
Customize Yahoo News Page - Am trying to migrate AWAY from Google - But I can't customize Yahoo's News page (add/delete/re-order sections). Why don't you allow for users to customize their News page to their viewing & preferences ?

Allow comments on more stories
I've noticed in the last few weeks that more and more stories do not allow comments. This started with the Katie Couric articles, but now it seems that about half of Yahoo articles do not allow comments.

Don't take money from Answers.com. The sites are super slow, lock the computer up, and very nerve racking.

allow users to block specific sponsors
You allow users to filter subject matter, but not the sponsor. I dont have an issue with the subject, but the slanted view of the sponsor. I have no interest in the skewed facts presented by Salon.com, Huffington post .. farce... etc...

Bring back our personal profile images! It was great to have that small essence of individualism.
Bring back our personal 'avatar'. It was great to have a small piece of individualism, a small slice of expression.
Surely, out of the estimated 20 MILLION users, Yahoo does not need to spank the hand of everybody because of an errand avatar that may possibly be offensive to only a few.

get rid of all the "sponsored" news stories.
how about yahoo having a real news bureau and get rid of the sponsored fluff ****. that never load right anyway
-
Get rid of Christian Science News. It is not a real news source. They are editorals
Christian Science is not news, they are editorials disguised as news. They are just a liberal as Yahoo news.

More accurate reporting of Obamacare. All of your news articles seem to support the ACA using inaccurate numbers or false information.
Yahoo consistently publishes articles claiming the continued success of Obamacare, despite the majority of Americans lack of support for it and its failure. Your 'reporters' need to either stop pulling information soley from Barack Obama's website, or learn how to research both sides of an issue to publish a fair and balanced article.
