Make accurate, nonlibelous headlines that reflect the stories' content. Also put the "new" back in news.
Headlines must be as accurate and nonlibelous as the news content. Your headlines imply a lot of things that aren't true, including that something recently occurred. News purveyors (of any kind) are responsible for headlines' implications. People remember and act on those implications. Many readers won't see the information in the story. Also, a headline exclaiming about an occurrence implies a recent occurrence, not something a year or more ago. News should be "new."

Stop constant attacks on Republicans. Very sad. You gossip, gossip, gossip.
Start using your brains to discern news vs gossip.

Stop pubishing fake news i.e. tabloid style lies on your various sites.
Every day you have tabloid style lying teasers, many with doctored photos. Lies implying stars are being beaten by spouses, or lies implying stars have died. Then there are all the fake news stories about members of the England's Royal Family embarrasing the family, feuding with the family, etc. You took a pledge after the 2016 election cycle to eliminate fake news and yet you continue. I don't care if it is a paid ad, or sponsored or whatever excuse you come up with. it is fake news and you need to stop publishing it.

Simple"In English" basic instructions
For us new to posting simple "in English" instructions like "to make a comment click on "X" enter your comment; then press "X"to post. Or to find your previous comment click on "X" in your account to find previous comment. I realize that this is all probably on the website but those of us not familiar with online vernacular need a little basic help to become acclimated to online"speak".

Why is there no mention in Yahoo News of the child killed by death panel in the UK.
I have not yet seen a story in Yahoo News about the child denied care by socialized medicine - and even denied the right to go to another country for treatment.
This could have been you under ~Obamacare.

Better story selection, with less shock value
I grew up in a more sheltered time. I knew about wars and violence, but never had intimate details of bad things fed to me on a regular basis. It seems that many of the lead stories on the Yahoo home page have violent, brutal and shocking details. There are plenty of non-controversial subjects to report.

Yahoo needs to review the news articles on the Yahoo web site. Remove fake news.
Before the daily posting of the Yahoo news articles on the Yahoo web site screen the articles. I have found several news stories that are plain fake, like the passing of Vanna White. Also, some of the news articles, when clicked on from the Yahoo web site, are nothing but gateways for "Internet Fake Alerts," scams to get the readers attention to give personal information. Since December 27, 2017 when I bought my computer, no less than 10 "Internet Fake alerts have popped up when I click on the Yahoo news article. And they still pop up. Does anyone in…
