Player Position Change
Please, Joe Boyle has been a long inning reliever and should have RP eligibility too.
Hey Rob,
Players changing positions can affect how you manage your team. Their positions are determined based on info from the MLB roster and past performance. Once the player has gained eligibility, they won't lose it even if they don't make additional appearances in the season.
Determine position eligibility
The number of games a player completes determines position eligibility.
- Position eligibility – 5 starts or 10 total appearances in a position.
- Pitcher eligibility – 3 starts to be a starter, or 5 relief appearances to qualify as a reliever.
Use the position eligibility countdown
The number under each position shows how many games remain until the player is eligible for that position. If an "E" appears in the column, they're already eligible to play.
- Under the "Players" tab, click Position Eligibility.
- Type the player's name into the available field.
- Click Search.

"New Players Become Available" setting locks post draft - Neither commissioners nor Yahoo Customer Care are able to edit this post-draft.
Player availability options
During spring training any player already in our system on a MLB 40-man roster may show as "active" until the regular season begins.
- "As soon as Yahoo adds them" option - Players are available as soon as they're added to a team's 40-man roster. While players outside the 25-man roster can’t be used until after September 1st, you can claim your stake early.
- "Wait until called up to the Majors" option - Players won’t be available until they’ve been called up to the Majors and are part of a team’s 25-man roster.

All-Star badge for players
Hey Yahoo. I liked the badge you added for torpedo bat players, it adds a fun element to the game. Have you considered doing a similar badge for all-star players? I think it would be fun to be able to brag to my leaguemates how many all-stars my team has, or just to compare in general. Not sure how long the badge would last or when it would be instituted since the all-star rosters are in flux, but I think it would be cool to have next couple of weeks. Thanks!

Fix stats
Last week Ohtani acrues points as a hitter and it was applied to his pitcher stats. What happened to the player stats for the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday (July 1st)?
When a game is suspended, all player scoring from the entire game will be applied via stat corrections at the end of the matchup week at approximately 11:59 pm PT on Sunday. You can see the pending stat corrections via the desktop version of the site by going to the "Players" tab and then clicking on "Stat Corrections". Keep in mind that since this game was the resumption of a suspended game that originally started on 7/1, players would have needed to be in your starting lineup on 7/1, when the game originally began, in order to get credit for any stats they accumulated during the resumption of the game on 7/2.
For the issue with Ohtani that you referred to, please contact us under the sports section at help.yahoo.com so we can look into this further for you.

Please keep up to date with eligible players (e.g. Dietrich Enns to name one)
Players not included in the initial player pool will be added to the game once they are signed to an active MLB roster in the following overnight update and subject to league waiver rules.

Why does Yahoo adjust the Pre-Season rankings as the season goes? For instance, Jackson Merrill is now "pre-season" ranked 36 when he start
when he started around 25th. It happens in all of your leagues. Can't you just leave the pre-season ranks locked?

What happened to the SP and RP page
When you click on the information box next to the name of one of your players (it bring up the LATEST NEWS....EX GEORGE KIRBY....if you click on the players team name...Seattle Mariners it brings up team information....in the past if you click on ROSTER from that page it would bring up a field showing the baseball field with starters and back ups...ALSO it would show to the right of the field the SP and RP in order from closer to set up men. WHY is that box no longer on that screen....I want to know who the #1, #2 #3…

Milwaukie Brewers pitcher Misiorowski is listed as a RP but has started games. Can he be changed to SP,RP?

When looking at free agent players to add, it would be helpful to see probable pitchers for upcoming games - perhaps 3 games into the future.

Please add Tim Elko!!!
I tried to take advantage by rostering him before my friends could get to him but he isn't even in the game! He debuted today and still not in the game, that was a bit too late.

Can we get "Previous 25" and "Next 25" back on top?
In the past, we had the Previous 25 and Next 25 on both the top and bottom of the player lists. Now it's only on the bottom. Can we get it back on top also?

Late notification on players out or NA
Why are your people posting NA and players out for the game so late, I can't sit around the computer all f'ing day waiting. I kept checking and Shohei was posted late right before the 6:30 or so games started I could have replaced. I'm sure the Cubs posted this with more than enough time. DO better please!!

Once a player is officially ruled out or a transaction is officially made (put them on the IL/send them down to the minors/call them up to the majors), our data provider will update their status accordingly. THERE NEEDS TO BE A DESIGNATION FOR PLAYERS THAT GO ON PATERNITY LEAVE OTHER THAN 'NA' WHY ARE MANAGERS PUNISHED BY NOT BEING ABLE TO ADD A PLAYER FOR THE FATHER WHILE THEY WITNESS THE BIRTH OF THEIR CHILD, THE FACT THAT THIS IS EVEN AN ISSUE ON YAHOO IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

SP button doesn't work. Old set up was better.
