Increase the number of allowable NA spots for Minor Leaguers (Dynasty)
Trying to run a "dynasty" league on yahoo is becoming increasingly difficult due to the restrictive amount of "minor league" spots (NA). As baseball prospects take long years to become valued assets, maximizing NA at 10 prospects leaves way too many desirable players on waivers for a deeper/standard dynasty league. With anything, all that is increasing is the allowable maximum to allow for these more in-depth dynasty leagues to exist.

Commissioners of the league can enforce a rule for limiting how long a manager can keep a player. Commissioners can enforce this rule since they have the ability to approve and assign keepers to teams.

Playoff Divisional Matchups
There should be a playoff setting for divisional matchups. Divisions right now are a little useless they only determine the top seeds. My idea is to have a playoff setting for divisional matchups. For example in my league I have 2 divisions of 4 and I want the playoff matchups to be within the division so, 1v4 2v3 winners play eachother and so that the championship will be between the 2 division winners.

For example in my league I have 2 divisions of 4 and I want the playoff matchups to be played within the division so the finals will be between the 2 division winners, for example 1v4 2v3 winners play then it’s the finals between one division winner and the other one. Divisions right now are kinda useless as only the top seed matters currently the other division teams are seeded by overall standings not division.

Dramatically Increase Scoring Category Options
You guys kind of need to get with the times with all the new stats that are regularly used on websites and talk shows. Yahoo is lagging behind in terms of stats and I have been using Yahoo for a very long time. If you don't add more stats in the next year or so I am most likely going to move my league to a different platform like Sleeper. I would love to add wRC+ to my scoring categories but cant

Change the keeper approval date for fantasy baseball
Please move the keeper date way up! Because of your limited settings we run an offline draft every year for our dynasty leagues. With the current date set at 3/24 we won't have enough time before the season starts to do what we need to. We would have to switch to another platform if the date isn't changed. Thank you.
Hey Austin,
The commissioner of a league has the ability to change the keeper declaration date for when managers need to submit their keepers. The commissioner can then approve them after that date. The date must be before the draft in a league.
In leagues that don't have a draft date, you wouldn't be able to set a keeper date through the system, and would manually need the managers to tell you who they are keeping so you can input their keepers.

Time to reduce the number of IL spots
In the 2025 public prize league in baseball, there are 4 IL spots. I think this was increased from the past because of covid and it is time to reduce it. I checked a public league from 2012 and there was only 1 IL spot. I am a private league commissioner and when I set up that league, it defaulted to two IL sports. We are now using three because of covid but I am now thinking about going back to two. More than that ties up too many players and leaves nothing on the waiver wire. I would like…

Pitching games started limits in H2H points leagues
Ability to set a cap on the number of games started by pitchers per week per team.
My league used to play on yahoo but we left because this rule is not covered.
PLEASE add this we want to come back but this rule is a deal breaker.

Start active players after making a roster move
You have a start player option when adding a player why not have a start active players option at the same time? Your system adjust future lineups for no reason why not adress that

Stat corrections for suspended games should apply to the day those stats were actually recorded
When a game is suspended and resumed later in the week new starting pitching will often come into the game, and this often takes the place of their regularly scheduled weekly start. However, managers aren't able to know this beforehand, and if that player is on their bench the day the game starts (considering there is no reason to have them in the lineup if they aren't scheduled to start that day) those stats for the week will go to waste. I believe this system needs to be revised to either allow managers to retroactively change their roster for suspended…

Set Active Rosters
I am letting you know if you do not re-consider allowing set active rosters to be free by 2026, I will be taking 3 football pools, 2 hockey pools, 2 baseball pools and one basketball pool and will be moving to a competitor.
You have made it near impossible for my league members to enjoy themselves as a casual fan and have destroyed the joy and fun that these leagues used to be.
I doubt you will do anything about it, but I am very disappointed and you will lose my leagues.

The league that you are in is referred to as an "Instant Draft." This means that you're automatically placed in a Public league once you enter the draft lobby. Once the draft room opens, it's not possible for you or Yahoo to remove or transfer your team from the league.
I apologize that we can't be of more assistance, but do know that you're not obligated to visit the team pages for the entirety of the season. In the Yahoo Fantasy app, you can either hide your league from the home screen or customize league notifications using the steps below:
Hide your teams:
- Tap the Profile icon at the top left.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Customize menu.
- Tap Hide next to any league you want to remove from the home screen.
Customize notifications:
- Tap the Profile icon at the top left.
- Tap Settings.
