Please add these prospects to the player pool?
Hi Yahoo,
Two lesser known prospects before the season are having breakout years that are not in the player pool, could you please add them? They are:
Nolan Perry (TOR - SP)
Joseph Dzierwa (BAL - SP)Hi Scott,
Choosing the best players for your team is crucial to winning your Fantasy Baseball league. Top prospects and new players are available at different times based on your league's settings and are subject to your team's waiver rules.
"New Players Become Available" setting locks post draft - Neither commissioners nor Yahoo Customer Care are able to edit this post-draft.
Player availability options
During spring training any player already in our system on a MLB 40-man roster may show as "active" until the regular season begins.
- "As soon as Yahoo adds them" option - Players are available as soon as they're added to a team's 40-man roster. While players outside the 25-man roster can’t be used until after September 1st, you can claim your stake early.
- "Wait until called up to the Majors" option - Players won’t be available until they’ve been called up to the Majors and are…

You have an issue with a player's stats
I am in a league that measures k/bb. David Bednar is on my team and is not getting any stats for that category. Can you please take a look at this. TY. The league number is 95439. My team's name is Lou's Team. TY.
Thank you for reaching out regarding David Bednar not getting any stats for the K/BB category. Bednar has not had a BB in his recent appearances. His last BB was on June 8th. You don't see any number for his K/BB in his recent performances where he didn't have a BB because any number divided by 0 is undefined. If he has a game where he has 1 K and 0 BB, the K/BB is 1/0 and 1 divided by 0 is undefined.

Player Pop-up Cards
PLEASE, keep the last update for every player on their pop-up card. Whatever it is, however old it is. We can read the date and understand that it's old, but sometimes we need to know if there's any hope for a return this season or if they are out for the year. It doesn't make sense to remove the last known update. This seems like an easy fix. Thank you.
Hi Adam,
Thanks for your feedback.
We will pass along your feedback to our product team.

Why did you get rid of the history of a player in Fantasy Baseball???
In fantasy baseball it was VERY valuable to see who owned a player for the entire season. Why did you get rid of the Player History tab? PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!
Thank you for reaching out regarding the player history tab. If you are referring to the history tab that shows when you access a player's player card on web, the history tab still shows there if you are in a league for the current season. If you are looking at past seasons, you cannot access this, unfortunately.

Player list- Sort by Opponents mark end of week
When I, say, search under players, then sort by 'opponents' there is no marking where the end of the fantasy week is located. For instance, a vertical line to the right of June 21 to show the end of that fantasy week and the start of the next week would help as I look downward. Not a biggie. Hope that makes sense.
Thank you for your feedback regarding marking the end of the week when sorting by opponents. Your thoughts and suggestions are extremely valuable to us which is why we've passed your comments along to our team. We're committed to continuously improving your fantasy experience and appreciate your continued support.

Player Rankings & RP-Only Filter
I'd love to see a few improvements to the Yahoo Fantasy Baseball iPhone app:
- Player Ranks Visible in the App
- Please add player rankings (current season rank, rest-of-season rank, and/or preseason rank) directly within player lists and waiver wire views on the iPhone app.
- This information is available in some areas on desktop but is difficult to access quickly on mobile. Having ranks visible while browsing free agents would make roster decisions much easier.
- True RP-Only Filter
- Please add an RP-only filter that excludes players who have gained SP eligibility.
- Currently, many pitchers listed as relievers are actually being used…
Thank you for your detailed feedback! Your thoughts and suggestions are extremely valuable to us which is why we've passed your comments along to our product and engineering teams. We're committed to continuously improving your fantasy experience and appreciate your continued support.

Add to player database in season
Once a month review and add prospects as they pop up in season.
Or a second suggestion is having a “player add request” that gets reviewed and applied or denied

Pre-Season Rankings
Why do you guys change your "Pre-Season Rankings" of players throughout the year? For example, last week Drake Baldwin's "Pre-Season Ranking" was 42, and now this week it's 39 (even though his actual pre-season ranking was probably in the 100s before our draft). It shouldn't change at all based on current season performance, as all of these guys should just one set ranking prior to the season. It would be helpful to see how a player truly was ranked prior to the season to compare.
Thank you

Add stat filtering on the player pickups page
When I'm searching for players to pick up, I want to be able to filter on stats. For example, show me relief pitchers with K/9 rates above 9 and season-to-date saves about 5. This idea is not specific to fantasy baseball.
Hi Rob,
You can click on a stat category in the player pool that will filter the players from highest to lowest or lowest to highest if you click on it again.

Bo Bichette
hes a 3B now.. please change his position to SS/3B
he is not a straight SS anymore.
please make this change.Hi Dan,
Players changing positions can affect how you manage your team. Their positions are determined based on info from the MLB roster and past performance. Once the player has gained eligibility, they won't lose it even if they don't make additional appearances in the season.
Determine position eligibility
The number of games a player completes determines position eligibility.
- Position eligibility – 5 starts or 10 total appearances in a position.
- Pitcher eligibility – 3 starts to be a starter, or 5 relief appearances to qualify as a reliever.
Use the position eligibility countdown (website)
The number under each position shows how many games remain until the player is eligible for that position. If an "E" appears in the column, they're already eligible to play.
- Under the "Players" tab, click Position Eligibility.
- Type the player's name into the available field.
- Click Search.

Thank you for reaching out regarding an error message that you were seeing. It sounds like you were trying to drop a player who was in your starting lineup. You are not able to drop a player whose team has already played that day. You must wait until the following day to drop them. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact our support team via https://help.yahoo.com/kb/fantasy-baseball >> Contact Us.

Thank you for reaching out regarding Josh Sborz not being in the player pool. Sborz is not on the active roster or 40-man roster for any MLB team. Sborz will have to be added to a team's active roster or 40-man roster (depending on your league's setting) in order to be added to the player pool this season.

Additional Player schedule insights
Rather than the torpedo bat icon, there are some things that can be added to player profiles that would be EXETREMELY useful.
- For batters, indication whether they hit R, L or Switch AND indicate whether the scheduled opposing starting pitcher is R or L. This is very useful for Start / sit decisions.Hello Derek,
Thank you for your feedback.

Remove Torpedo Bat
The Torpedo bat indicator was fun for the brief flash in the pan that it was, but I don't think there is any value ( or any easy, clear way to continue to track) whether a batter is using a Torpedo bat or not.

Remove torpedo bat icon
Please remove the Torpedo Bat icons from the player profiles. This cheapens the overall look and usability of the app. It doesn’t impact anything and was a cute topic last season that has since cooled. Thank you!

When will yahoo become active in updating the latest news on the players?
looks like Yahoo is slacking (Player latest news/updates)compared to other fantasy baseball leagues...whats up?
Thanks for reaching out regarding player news. Our data providers (Rotowire and Rotoworld) will add new player updates whenever noteworthy updates come about. Currently, you will see a 2026 player outlook on the player card for each player. Any recent player updates (if there are any) can be found below that. Player updates will be added more frequently once the season starts.
