Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26
Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.
We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.
Entire list of updated players for the 25/26 season: https://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/nba/playerchanges?type=pos
As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them. Commissioners can add new positions using the steps here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN7057.html

commentedFranz Wagner has started the last 7 games at either PG or SG for the Magic after Cole Anthony got injured. Per basketball reference, for the current season, he is spending 47% of his time at SG. That's almost half of his playing time!

commentedCaris LeVert should be SF eligible. He has started at SF all season without question. PG- Garland, SG- Mitchell, SF- LeVert, PF-Mobley, C- Allen. Please correct this thanks!

commentedFranz Wagner needs an SG eligibility. Started most games at this position this year and they feature him as their playmaker (so he plays a lot PG as well). And why this feature has gone downwards so much over the last year? You no longer care about this community?

commentedI know it's early and a small sample size, but according to Basketball Reference, the Pelicans have ran Zion quite a bit as a C (51% as of today) and Ingram as a SG (90% as of today). Just something to keep an eye on as the rotation solidifies. I'm sure you have plenty of Simmons complaints too.

commentedSleeper App for Basketball is looking better every day. Your positional eligibility adjustments either move so slow or never happen at all...... thanks so much for making every **** big in the league C only.... Really screwed all of us who run make-shift dynasty leagues (something else you also suck at providing us the ability to do compared to Sleeper).

commentedYou guys barely made any position eligibility changes since the season started. How many months do we need to wait until some players get more positions? I do not understand why you guys always have to dissapoint the fantasy community when we all just want more flexibility. Nobody is going to complain if a player gets more position but we will keep complaining about not getting it. I remember how it took you guys more than a decade to finally add the IL+ spot. This is the same thing. You might as well just play in a custom league with 13 Utility spots to be happy.
