Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them. Commissioners can add new positions using the steps here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN7057.html

    at least reflect the positions as detailed on your Yahoo sports pages.. listing players as the starter for a position means that should have that eligibility in your fantasy app...

    Gordon Hayward is listed as only SF. He plays SG for the Hornets now in starting lineup
    Bilal Coulibaly is listed as only SF. He is listed as G in NBA.com & ESPN. Thank you

    When is Keyonte George's position eligibility being updated to include PG? He has been updated under the Utah Jazz's "roster" as the starting PG on your NBA site for Yahoo, when is that change going to get applied to your fantasy basketball site?

    Guys start game listed at SG but do not have SG eligibility. Cam Reddish for example. Per the yahoo page for the Lakers, Reddish listed as starting SG.

    Give Jalen Duren PF eligibility. He plays alongside a center.
    Give Onyeka Okongwu PF eligibility. He plays alongside Capela who is a center.

    Please add C eligibility to Dorian Finney-Smith as he's been starting Center for few games now. And give PG eligibility to Jordan Hawkins, replacement for CJ McCollum at PG for few games now.

    Example: Scottie Barnes has started over 5 games as sg. So he must be sg sf pf. For fantasy the value of Barnes turns up immediately.
    So dont wait and adjust as soon as possible

    Sadly yahoo needs to add a designation for suspended players. If you drafted Ja Morant to stash, he is listed as "Out," which means he can't be put on IL, only IL+
