Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.
We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them. Commissioners can add new positions using the steps here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN7057.html

Caris LaVert SF Eligibility
LaVert is the starting SF for Cleveland. With Darius Garland back, and Donovan Mitchell playing the other guard position, LaVert is a SF. He was listed as the starting F in the game on 11/2, and will continue to play that position.

Bol Bol ORL - PF,C
Franz Wagner ORL - SF,PF
The Orlando Magic used four tall game starters. Wendell Carter Jr. plays center, Paolo Banchero plays power forward, and Bol Bol plays small forward. Franz Wagner played point guard.Please add SF position to Bol Bol.

When Mason Plumlee or Nick Richards aren't on the court and the Charlotte Hornets are playing small ball, it'sJaden McDaniels play as a center, not P.J. Washington.P.J. Washington has the center position, and so should Jaden McDaniels.
Please add C position to Jalen McDaniels. -

Isaiah Stewart DET - C
Most NBA fantasy leagues have this guy playing two positions PF/C and initially back in his career he had both positions in Yahoo. So now he´s not.Please add PF/C positions, thanks.

Franz Wagner starts at G. He only has SF/PF eligibility. Please add G, SG or PG, to his position eligibility. That's eight games he has started at G. Yahoo Fantasy Baseball adds eligibility when a player starts five games at a different position. You guys suck at your jobs.

Please add C to Scottie Barnes...."In last Wednesday’s win over Philadelphia, Barnes started at centre and served as the primary defender on 76ers star Joel Embiid."
Paolo Banchero also should have PF/C added.

Others to think about (besides Simmons obviously):
Herro should be a sg/sf
Sengun should be a pf/c
Adebayo should be a pf/c
Claxton should be a pf/c
All are consistent with nba.com, yahoo sports, and ESPN.

Several games started at SF even without Garland. Once Garland is back, the clear starting SF.

Quick question, could you look into the player Caris LeVert on the Cavaliers? His eligibility is listed as SG only, but he starts at SF as listed on the Yahoo Cavaliers Team page. Much appreciated!

Jarrett Allen and Mobley regular share the floor together and also switch positions constantly. Mobley already had both positions. Allen should have both PF and C as well
