Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them. Commissioners can add new positions using the steps here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN7057.html

    Has been playing at SF position most of the time so please update accordingly.

    He must have SF/PF/C positions as well.

    starting lineup:
    PG: SGA
    SG: Dort
    SF: GIDDEY!!

    Giddey has been playing more SF than pg or sg. Please update.

    Josh Giddey has played every game at the SF position this season for OKC and is even listed as a SF on YAHOO SPORTS, yet Yahoo Fantasy Basketball says otherwise. Even ESPN has him listed at SF....

    SF eligibility for the starting SF for the Memphis Grizzlies,

    Desmond Bane

    (who has played 84% of his minutes at SF, is listed on the Yahoo depth chart as a SF, and has already been updated in other fantasy formats as a SF).

    Has this not been decided? He has played 10 games, and has started all 10 games at the SF position. Brooks is going to come back from injury and take over Melton's SG position. Bane is the starting SF, and doesn't have SF eligibility. Not sure why Yahoo hasn't made the adjustment.

    Davion Mitchell plays backup PG. Please correct this. De'Aaron Fox start starts at PG, Haliburton starts at the SG position. Davion Mitchell is the back up PG and Buddy Heild is the back up shooting guard. Yes, Davion Mitchell plays SG too. Sometimes Sacramento even has 3 guard line ups but Davion Mitchell is the back up PG. I have done all the research for you. There is no more feedback that is needed. Make it happen. Thanks.

    Basketball reference has mobley playing 37% of his minutes at SF - almost twice as much as he plays C.

    basketball reference has him up to 98% on the season which would mean he has been there for all of his minutes in recent games

    He has been playing only SF his whole year. It has honestly been going on for too long. Please make the change

    Allow commissioners to control position eligibility. Since this can be taken advantage of, you can have an option of a league vote, similar to trades.
