Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them. Commissioners can add new positions using the steps here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN7057.html

    Brandin Podziemski shouled add SF position.Sometimes,GSW use one big with four smalls lineup,Brandin Podziemski played as SF in this lineup.

    Kyle Kuzma needs SF added. Wizards have been playing large chunks of game with Valanciunas at C, Sarr at PF and Kuzma at SF

    Domantas Sabonis should have PF eligibility. He is currently only C

    He is Forward-Center

    Other Centers have a PF tag when they shouldn't

    Victor Wembanyama should have PF eligibility and Ben Simmons should be eligible at PG/PF and C.

    Ben Simmons should be changed from PG to SF/F

    Ben Simmons is starting at the C position and should gain eligibility there.

    Shai Gilgeous Alexander had his SG taken. He used to be PG/SG and now is only PG. OKC lists his position as guard and basketball reference shows his stats at PG and SG last season. Not sure why SG was taken away. He plays both guard positions

    As title, Victor Wembanyama should be PF not C, or the system should give Wembanyama dual position of PF/C.

    Desmond Bane

    It's missing the PG position!
    Usually this guy plays PG in Morant's absence and we can see how he handle the ball during the games.

    Please add PG position ASAP.
    It's playoffs week!!!

    Taylor Hendricks of the Utah Jazz needs Center eligibility, he plays that position the majority of his time on the court.

    There should be no ambiguity where people’s money is involved. Set the guidelines and stick with them. This whole “tracking data” thing leaves room for interpretation and comes with a blatant lack of transparency.

    Please allow Brandin Podziemski to have point guard eligibility as he has played point guard in many games as he and Steph Curry have been the only active point guards in several games and whenever Curry is on the bench, Podziemski is playing point guard.

    Bilal Coulibaly should add SG position.In today's game,WAS vs LAC,Bilal Coulibaly replace Jordan Poole played as starting SG.

    Jaime Jaquez Jr should at minimum have SG eligibility. He plays SG in 35% of his minutes according to Basketball Reference. He also gets 7% of time at PF and 3% at PG, so potentially too low of thresholds for those two to be added. Yahoo's Roster page for Heat also lists Jaime as SG,SF, PF. (Also Herro as PG,SG,+PF FYI)

    Please allow custom leagues to use SG/SF and PF/C flex positions as roster requirements if they want to.

    Jarred Vanderbilt should add C position,at first,he played as backup PF,sometimes,he played as smallball C.

    Luke Kennard was previously a SF on the Grizz and likely is most of the time if Smart, Ja, and Bane are healthy because they would be the primary ballhandlers
