Playoffs - Two week playoff matchups
This feature would allow commissioners to implement 2 week long playoff matchups for their league.

I agree with the posts below. Commissioners should have the ability to choose a 2 week playoff format. Unsure why yahoo has apparently been dragging their feet for years when other sites have this option.

How is this not an option yet? ESPN has it, and I believe Yahoo should be embarrassed that they don't. I'm upset about it because the buy-in for my fantasy basketball league is $200, and it's terrably unfortunate when one person has a massive disadvantage in the playoffs because they only have 38 players playing in a week while their opponent has 43.

Is this even a possibility this year? The season starts next week!

Allow for customizable playoff options, including:
A) the number of teams that make playoffs (even or odd number, allow for byes or no byes)
B) a consolation bracket, even for leagues that allow 8 playoff teams (remaining four teams consolation bracket, as it currently doesn’t allow you to do so in a 12 team format with 8 making playoffs)
C) one or two week playoff matchup options allowed to be customized for each playoff round individually (quarters, semis and finals).
D) any of the above or any other customizable playoff options -

get rid of the playoffs, to many of your good players sit the last two weeks. you shouldnt need to dismantle your team to win in the playoffs

Ability to setup playoffs on weeks 19, 20 & 21. Cut the **** "silly season" off at the end. 10 team leagues have everyone play each other twice. Completely fair and balanced season.
This also allows option for playoff matchups to span 2 weeks if commissioner desires.
Ultimately, allow commish more options to customize league schedule & playoffs

Please add this option for all sports (baseball, football, basketball, etc.)
All of my leagues are asking for it.

Would love to have the option to set the championship round to 2 weeks instead of 1. Fantasy's often luck with just 1 week, so I'd love to have a 2 week championship to determine who really is the best player!

i just think sometimes it happens that you build carefully your team during the season and your effort can be wasted because of one bad week. I just think it is fairer to have two weeks playoff. Or maybe it can be optional for league commissioner to decide whether he'll have one or two weeks playoff

I moved my Yahoo league to ESPN for the sole reason that ESPN allows you to customize the playoffs to whatever size you want.
There absolutely needs to be the ability to create a totally customized playoff format. Our league went to 14 teams this year and it created several issues with playoffs, due to the limited options that yahoo allows. It shouldn't be very hard to allow commissioners total control for playoff brackets, allowing byes where an odd number of teams enter or continue in the playoffs. Other sites have these options and yahoo needs to keep up. I know we're not the only ones who are a bit salty about this. We want to come back next year, but you need to pick up your game and fix it Yahoo!!!

I think that one week playoffs are too volatile and leave too much up to chance. Mostly because players have different numbers of games and a team should not win because they had more games played in the final week. I know that championships can be made to be two weeks long, but I think that all playoff rounds should be able to be made two weeks as well.

I know that this has been stated, but I think it should be reiterated.
Please add 2 week playoffs next year! 2 week playoffs will mean the the stronger team will more likely win (which it should). This used to be an option, but was removed a year or two ago.
ESPN has it, and I think Yahoo, as the best fantasy website, should give us the option too!
