New fantasy football look
Dear Yahoo Fantasy Team,
I wanted to provide feedback on the recent update to the team view in the Yahoo Fantasy app.
I’m really not a fan of the new look. The new colour-coding system for viewing your roster just isn’t visually appealing. The previous design looked much cleaner and made the team page feel more polished. Now it feels cluttered and, in my opinion, takes away from the overall experience.

This is the worst app for fantasey
Yahoo Fantasy Sports has one of the most frustrating user experiences I've dealt with. I've spent hours trying to join a league, created multiple Yahoo accounts, used different devices, and still get the same useless "There is someone already in this league like you. (Error #215)" message with absolutely no explanation of what's actually wrong.
What's even worse is the customer support. Instead of providing clear troubleshooting steps or meaningful assistance, you're left digging through outdated forum posts and generic help articles that don't address the problem. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to get timely support from…

Bring back the ability to see each game’s outcome on Players’ Gamelogs.
In the supposed app “upgrades,” you removed a key bit of info from Player Profile Game Logs: the outcomes of the games. When I look at the Game Log for Baker Mayfield and see he got 8.08 pts against NO in W8, I want to be able to see if he won or lost the game with those horrible pts. If he won the game with those points, I am probably cautious about putting him into my lineup when they play again, knowing they were able to win before without the QB doing much of anything fantasy-meaningful.

A few ideas
A suggestion for the layout of individual players. I think there use to be bolder bars surrounding the Kicker which would give it the effect of seperating the offense from the defense.
Still a fan of the old live scoring log on the app. Liked how the text was small and could see points added as they occurred for both teams and the history of points added. Would like to see a return of this
An at glance widget for Android/apple showing the score/live scoring log on locked/home screen. And/or A smart watch version of this would be cool.

Can you guys please fix the UI bug on mobile when viewing someone's roster? The stupid ******* purple banner ("It's almost game time") at the bottom of the page is always covering the last player on the roster. It is sooo ******* annoying and has been going on for 3 weeks now. How have you guys not come across this already? Do you use the ******* app? Ridiculous that this has not even been fixed yet

Fix the ads in the fantasy app
The ads play music, they loop on top of eachother, I can’t listen to music or podcasts or anything while using the app. We’ve done our fantasy leagues on Yahoo for over 10 years but this issue is enough to make us migrate next season

Push notifications for waiver wire/FAB outcomes
I’ve been getting loads of push notifications on the Yahoo Fantasy app, only a fraction that are relevant to me. But on Wednesday morning, I have to open the app and check my roster and also navigate to League and recent transactions just to get partial information about the waiver auction results. This is probably one of the more relevant aspects of the league. It would be great to have a push notification of the results of auctions for any players I bid for. And then it would be good to click it and be taken to a screen that…

Horrendous app experience
Revert back to the 2023 yahoo fantasy app UI. The design was flawless at the time. If you want to innovate based off that app design, I understand. But the overhaul has been so horrible. I’ve tried to get used it over the last 2 years and it’s not adjusted and I’ve only grown to hate it more. I am at the point where I’m considering moving my leagues to sleeper. UI is important!

mobile user interface
The 2024 changes to the mobile user interface are terrible. They are not intuitive or user friendly in my opinion. Sleeper and ESPN are so much better that I'm considering moving my league for the first time since it was created in the mid 2000s. Why is the app taking me to yahoo's fantasy home page rather than within my specific league whenever I'm trying to navigate internally? This gets really frustrating after a while, especially when you're trying to compare your specific roster to the free agent pool. If it wasn't broken, why fix it? AND why do i…

Switch the Bars and Disable Headshots
For the Yahoo Mobile app.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make 2 changes:Move the TEAM/ MATCHUP/ PLAYERS/ LEAGUE bar to the BOTTOM for one-handed use (I am aware that swiping will move through them, but I dont want to do that!) Put the Home/News/Scores on the top, since that is less accessed by the majority of fantasy players.
Allow us to disable player headshots to make the rows skinnier in Team view.

Customizable Notification Sound
It would be very helpful for me if I could customize the notification sounds for the Yahoo Fantasy app on my mobile. I work on game days and can't always watch the action in real time. It would really be helpful to me to be able to hear that the notification that is dropping is from Yahoo Fantasy so it wouldn't sound like some other generic notification. That way I wouldn't have to look at my phone EVERY time I get a notification on game day.

Put bye weeks back on roster
Please go back to the way it was before, where you could view all players' bye weeks while viewing your roster. Now you have to click on each player/team. I'm sorry, but the design updates have been a major set back. It's all too "white"; nothing stands out. It's just all jumbled together.
