Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2024-25

Position eligibility requests for the 2024-25 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa.     How does yahoo confirm eligability??
    Quinton Byfied is playing center and has been since the pre season and still a winger.
    Ross Colton marked as centre but same for him except hes only playing wing.
    Its great the coommish can edit but thats a slippery slope when those players are on their own roster. please update more regularely

    Kent Johnson has only played Wing in his NHL career and played RW in his first game. He should have LW/RW yet only has Center eligibility.

    Logan Stankoven should be given RW eligibility. He has played exclusively RW in the NHL and had RW eligibility last season but is currently listed exclusively as a center.

    Rutger McGroarty only has RW eligibility, but he’s also played LW all of preseason and the first 2 games of the season

    Position eligibility requests 2024-25

    My idea came from the fact that Kent Johnson, who’s only played RW/LW in the NHL, and has played all games in this preseason on the wing, is listed only as a Center.
    And Trevor Zegras who played all of last season at LW/RW, and is gonna start the season on the wing, is also only listed as a C

    Please add LW status to Pavel Zacha as be is full time on the wing now playing with Lindholm as the C on the top line

    Please add LW to Pavel Zacha he is locked into that now on the top line with Lindholm and Pasta. I need that eligibility soon, make it happen. He played some wing last year as well as center.

    Please update Gustav Nyquist’s position eligibility so that he is able to be put into a RW slot. He plays on the right wing of Filip Forsberg’s line and Forsberg has been a strict LW all year.

    nashville's McCarron plays C, has taken 1500 faceoffs, please add C!

    Kurashev has been Bedard's RW for most of the season. Yeah he got a little more C deployment when Bedard was hurt, but Bedard has nearly 500 Face-offs in 55 games and Kurashev has half as many in 62 GP. C/RW seems way overdue.
