REVERT STUPID SCHEDULING CHANGES
Why did you need to change the schedule of games in the roster? It is a horrible design change and makes it way more tedious to see who is playing. The new red NO GAME is stupid and not needed, just revert back to what it was last week.... Who ever thinks of these stupid changes should be fired. They're just changing things to change them instead of actual practical use..........

Why can't I place Jake Walman who is officially O on IR??????? you are going to cost me points in the Championship
Players must be officially placed on their team's IR in order to obtain IR status in fantasy hockey. Only players listed as IR can be placed in your IR spot in fantasy hockey. Players listed as Out cannot be placed in the IR spot. This information can be found here. We appreciate your feedback regarding this and we will pass it along to our team.

Roster changes that should be
Like in Fantasy Football ... Fantasy Hockey players designated as OUT should be allowed to placed in a IR Position.
Also there are to many Defensmen starting positions (4) 2 would be sufficient. There aren't that many defensemen that produce offense. Thanks.

A picture of every hockey player that has played this season on their profile.
Goalie Victor Ostman of the Seattle Kraken was called up for the second time that I know of, he's on my roster in an NA slot, he played when Joey Daccord was pulled, and proceeded to stop all 12 shots that came at him. Give this man a picture of himself on his profile, and do so for all players that have been called up. Their fans, including me would greatly appreciate it.

Setting Lineup
Can we please remove the scrambled roster for future days after making edits? It used to not be like this and, as a democratic league, have put moving the league to a different platform. I'd hate to see us go
Future lineups have always reset after making any transactions: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/start-active-players-start-optimal-players-option-yahoo-fantasy-sln28660.html
You will need to hit start active players again as those future lineups become invalid since players are no longer there and are reset.

Player adds. Several players missing. Even players with contract who played NHL games last year.
For example Mukhamadullin.
When's the next update?
We've completed adding non-active players for the 2024-25 Fantasy Hockey season but will continue to update the game with any players who sign to an active roster and are not already included.

Picking up players off FA after rosters have been set for future days
Why do I lose changes I made to my roster for future game days when I pickup a player off FA list if one of my players goes on IR ??? This is sooo annoying because I need to re-set my roster again to the changes I already made. Get it together Yahoo sports!! Yours is the only fantasy game where future roster changes aren't saved, It should only affect the single player that was placed on IR - then put the player picked up from FA list into the spot on the roster that the prior player was in.…

Same Day Roster Moves
It's 2024 and you still do not allow for same day roster moves. I should be able to cut a player and move a player off IR to the active roster to take effect the same day, as opposed to having to wait a day for that move to take place. This ruins roster management and continues to make your platform third rate.
It sounds like your league's roster transaction deadline is set to Daily-Tomorrow. With this setting, all adds, drops, and trades do not go into effect on rosters until the following day. If you'd like these transactions to go into effect immediately, your commissioner can change the roster transaction deadline to Daily-Today by following the steps here.

Server resets
Not having standard server resets is wild. I read it 3am eastern on Monday norning. Its currently 4am and still not reset.

New days begin at 12 AM PST/3 AM EST. In fantasy hockey, the new game week will begin on Monday at this time, but there could be unintended issues that cause a delay in changing over to a new week to reset weekly transaction limits.

Hey Mark,
Enabling Start Active Players, or Start Optimal Players with Yahoo Fantasy Plus, will move players from your bench to your starting lineup. But, it will only replace players under certain conditions:
- Bench player has a scheduled game and starting player doesn’t.
- Bench player is eligible to play at the position of a starting player.
- Bench player is healthy and starting player is injured (and both have scheduled games).
If the button is enabled before goalies are confirmed, it will not automatically make change after the fact and you will need to update the lineup or click the Start Active Players button again.

Players - teams list scroll down option
When searching through the players to add and selecting a team, if trying to select a team like Washington or Winnipeg - it always scrolls the entire page down instead of the teams list. Would it be possible to add a scroll or something to prevent this from happening. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts just to get one of the teams at the bottom of the list. Thank you.
We are unable to reproduce the issue you are describing on our end. You should be able to use the scroll wheel on your mouse to scroll down to the bottom of the list of teams. If you are not using a mouse, you should be able to put your cursor over the downwards pointing arrow at the bottom to see the remaining teams that are not showing. Fix player stat card overlay for traded players
players that have been traded don't properly display the stats in the game log.

Draft goaltending based on teams, not individually
Instead of drafting individual goaltenders, like Demko and Hill, you would draft goaltending based on the team. In this example, the Canucks and Golden Knights. It’s the same idea as drafting a team defence in fantasy football.
This means you would get all their starts (Demko, Lankinen, silovs, Hill, Samsonov).
It would take away the goaltending issues of drafting them too high because of season to season inconsistencies, injuries, and minimum goaltending requirements.
I’ve ran this idea to all the leagues I’ve played in and everyone is on board as it would make the goaltending position better, and more valuable.

Roster flexibility. Currently we can only make roster moves, including dropping , if the player has not played yet , that day.
Allow tomorrows transactions to be applied today, regardless if a player has already played today, so that we can make changes, and participate after work instead of before work.
Thank you for your feedback regarding roster flexibility. It sounds like the Daily-Tomorrow roster transaction deadline may be something that you are looking for. In private leagues, roster transaction deadlines can be set to Daily-Tomorrow so that all transactions go into effect on rosters the following the day after they are made. This will allow tomorrow's transactions to be allowed today like you mentioned. More information regarding roster transaction deadlines can be found here.

Please fix start active players. When all slots are filled, this feature benches my top talent.
A sorting preference for "Start active players." It is too common to log in and find that my highest drafted, and most valuable players were benched by this feature and someone from the waiver wire is in their place

Rankings/projections are not taken into account when using the Start Active Players tool. Allow a different max games played limit for the goalie position (ESPN does)
We have a points only league, and it makes sense to have a limit of 82 games played for forwards and defensemen, but 82 does not make sense for goalies. We have a limit of 65 per goalie slot that we have to manually monitor and enforce.

I just confirmed with Yahoo that if I change the “roster” lock time it also makes it so that the lineup can be changed throughout the week,
Change the “roster” lock time to first puck drop of the week instead of Sunday at midnight while still locking lineups for the week at first puck drop.

Add single conference player universes
I play in a six man league and we do baseball and hockey each year. In baseball, we limit the players we can use to NL only due to the small size of the league. It keeps things more competitive. I want to have that available in fantasy hockey too, where you can make only western conference or eastern conference players available for a given year. This should be very easy to implement and would make a world of difference to my league. Thank you.
