Make Goaltender Limits variable to +/- games or Total Minutes Played ....
Actually position maximums in Fantasy Hockey. Give us the ability to change the number of games played for Goaltenders and separately for skaters. Individual goalies have a different playing schedule from skaters and to reach the maximum for two goalies of 164 games .... it takes owning 3 goaltenders and often 4 to make that number of games. And now NHL teams are time sharing the crease more and more which has some teams needing 5 goaltenders to make the 164 game limit. It means an abundance of goalies and less ability to roster skaters. For our purposes two goalie slots should have 65-70 maximum games - so we want to propose moving that number around to fit league needs. 130-140 games played max is sufficient and we should get an opportunity to make that decision. It is like the difference between pitchers and position player max games - total apples and oranges. Which is why innings works for pitchers and games played for position players.
Yahoo could use minute played maximums - 82 games x 60mins x 2 goalie slots = 9,840 mins. Making goalie slots total 7.500 mins would be very workable. Thanks for thinking about this with our interests in mind
