some of the news that you feature is certainly not "CURRENT" (have seen alot of old news that has been posted last week or earlier.
Please edit what I consider garbage news-who give a rat's _ _ _what the Dugger family is doing. Again please keep the news current (you keep including old news that has been posted over and over already-very tiring).
Yahoo can keep on featuring different types of news however being selective is always a good option. The "garbage" news can perhaps be placed under THE TRENDING area!1223rd ranked -

Do good instead of evil!
Here's an idea. Be good. Start by paying 'all' of your taxes. Next, I tried posting a comment somewhere (about coffee, following a link from a friend) and was forced to register with Yahoo, which I otherwise have zero use for. Yahoo asked me for a handle and then instead of using it, used my first real name. Losers! And the comment, which came in 5 characters under the limit, and included no links or profanity, wouldn't get accepted. Why? I don't read machine language, which was what followed the 'oops error' alert. Now I just want to un-register. Someone...…

Better support for account creation
I'm trying to create a Yahoo account but your software refuses to accept my phone number. It keeps saying it is not a valid number even though it is. The number accepts both calls & SMS and is a mobile number. To make matters worse, there is no support, and no way to contact Yahoo to fix the bug in your software. Makes me wonder why I would create a Yahoo account (except that I am trying to join a group).

here we go again....
Once again, there is a LARGE full-width Macbook ad at the top of my (and your) home page that has no close/minimize button !!! If I am the only user complaining about this, please ignore me. If however many users are complaining please do something about it or put a link near the ad that let's us know how long we will have to put up with this OBNOXIOUS 'feature' of the home page, For example, if your contract with Apple for this Macbook ad runs for another six months, I will leave now and you won't have to worry…

*** Email in Spam Folder
How about really filtering SPAM instead of forcing us to review a whole list of ****** suggestive email EVERY DAY? I have no such problem with Gmail.
I truly hate Yahoo for creating a system where SPAM is the center of my daily mail-checking activities.
- Remove this annoying Spam filter, I don't want to see it and have to empty it every day.
- Block evidently inappropriate emails. Sexually suggestive emails are NOT difficult to spot and should not even land in our Spam folder.None of my daughters will ever get a Yahoo account. This practice really shows…

why can I delete other ads but not delete apple.
Why can I delete other ads but not apple. When I am looking for something these ads can be distracting and are not appreciated. I look at them once. That should be enough.

I've spent 20 minutes trying to contact you in writing. How hard are you trying to make this IMPOSSIBLE?
"Our Email address: yulma@canadamycareer.com"
The above is the last line on an ad I've just received, apparently sent from MY address! This time they were stupid enough to add their real address in the message! For months someone has also been trying to sell Viagra and other junk to people I know, from MY address! I hope you can do something REALLY unpleasant to them.551st ranked -

The Daily Mail stuff should be on the bottom of your feed. I clicked on a story and it's sickening.
I usually go directly to news sites. NyTimes, Washington Post, Haaretz, Hollywood Reporter for entertainment. News aggregate sites like yours or Reddit have too much cr_p. I ended up on your home page after reading through Yahoo Tech and came across a click bait story about Eric Clapton. I though that because it was Yahoo, it would not be *. It was * and the link lead to the Daily Mail a repository and creator of filth. Not worth the clicks you're getting.

Yahoo needs to lighten up on its policy of restricting and censoring words that people use in the comments section.. Too petty...
When you people censor proper terminologies like **, *** or ***, you're going too * far. Your censorship practices are clearly over the top and bordering on petty.. I seriously am starting to hate everything about you and am very seriously considering adopting a new home page; one that's not earmarked for little old ladies who teach Sunday school...Get with the real world folks..
