  2. genuine news item vs a come on for a commercial.

    It is getting bad on the Yahoo Canada site, I cannot tell which is a genuine news item and which is a come on for a commercial.

    They should be two categories listed, maybe each havinf their own heading.

    1. "Real News"
    2. "Marketing Bull $hit"

  3. Canada = UK? Huh?

    Hey, Yahoo! Canada every time I log out of my Yahoo! E-Mail it flips to the Yahoo! News page...at times we get stories that seem to be more from the Yahoo! UK site. I usually just get annoyed by this.

    Then today I get a message saying there was a log in from the UK to my Yahoo! E-Mail. I check the GMT vs. PDT and notice that was me from here as usual in Vancouver, Canada. I think your site thinks I'm in the UK which would explain the News deal and today's message. I'm not in the UK.…

  4. I would like to see a news section where everyday Canadians can submit a referendum question about any worth while Canadian situation.

    Let's have a referendum section where Canadians can vote on important Canadian issues associated with Canada. Example, should Muslin women who join the RCMP be allowed to wear the hijab. Vote yes they should or no they shouldn't.

    Another example: Should Canada build their own jet fighters with the help of another country. yes or no

    Another example: Should the Canadian Senate be eliminated, yes or no.

    If you start this type of information section, I believe it would quickly grow into a Canadian first and would be so popular that the government would have to take notice.

  7. My Yahoo.ca keeps freezing and recovering during last several weeks. My computer guy says this is common problem with Yahoo. Why??

    Decrease content. Too much/many repetitive items over and over again. How about just posting recent news, events and items.

  11. I deleted the new yahoo messenger and I will not use it ever again you want people to use your service bring back the old system

    since there is no way to contact yahoo this s the only way I can think of to say your new messenger sucks and I will not use it do I deleted it. I will however use yahoo mail until you **** that up then I will go to MSN. that will be my new messenger MSN. bye

    Way too many pop up ads,they open when you don't want tem to and the pages are so crammed it stalls.I see a few complaints but no changes.I guess the ad revenue is more important to Yahoo than the readers.Just remember its us readers that decide to go elsewhere for their info.......bye bye
