4. I am constantly having problems with the mail, cant access mail, dont get messages for days that I know have been sent... etc.

   I dont know what it takes to make 'mail' work smoothly, but yahoo seems to be the only one that has these problems so... pony up guys.
   Or ill be forced to move to a different provider cause business email cant wait for your access problems. I would really prefer to stick with my current address, but...

12. I am locked out out til tomorrow.I need to access today to get my etransfer for road expense.will be getting new email elsewhere

    You have this setup to breach my security every time I log into my account with your stupid "Keep me signed in" I have clicked it off over and over and over and over and yet it always selects it. Due to this I will hold Yahoo responsible for any security breaches in my account that can be connected to this screwup. Forcing people to stay signed in is a joke and a pretty **** poor way for any company to act. If I sign in at a public place, your setup means if I miss that ******* box, then everyone has access to my email. GREAT JOB YAHOO. NO WONDER MOST PEOPLE HAVE STOPPED USING YOUR EMAIL

    Dear Yahoo,

    My name is Lise Trottier. I am an architect. And I
    utilize the computers at La Grande Bibliothèque
    in the city of Montreal, in Canada.

    Where, all of a sudden, something funny is going on
    with the electronics. All of a sudden, several e-mails
    aren't reaching their destination. They bounce ! Whereas
    there was never any problem reaching these destinations
    before.

    Furthermore, it has been brought to my attention that
    similarly, friends and colleagues have sent me e-mails,
    and they also haven't been able to reach their destination.

    Needless to say, the overall result is a
    
    breakdown in communication .... all of a sudden !

    We have talked about these technical mal-functions
    with La Grande Bibliothèque.

    We are also bringing it to your attention. Hopefully,
    you can resolve this technical mal-function from

17. Update the oil contract on your section

    When is Yahoo going to sack the person whose job it s to keep the business section current? He/She is woefully negligent in that they have not yet changed from the September contract which expired almost two weeks ago to the October. Contracts expire on the third Friday of every month and need to be changed.

    Dear Harvey,

    We are writing to inform you about a data security issue that may involve your Yahoo account information.

    What Happened?

    A copy of certain user account information was stolen from our systems in late 2014 by what we believe is a state-sponsored actor. We are closely coordinating with law enforcement on this matter and working diligently to protect you.

    What Information Was Involved?

    The stolen user account information may have included names, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, hashed passwords (the vast majority with bcrypt) and, in some cases, encrypted or unencrypted security questions and answers. Not all of these data elements may have been present for your account. The ongoing investigation suggests that stolen information did not include unprotected passwords, payment card data, or bank account information; payment card data and bank account information are not stored in the system that the investigation found to be affected.

    What We Are Doing

    We are taking action to protect our users:

    We are asking potentially affected users to promptly change their passwords and adopt alternate means of account verification.
    We invalidated unencrypted security questions and answers so they cannot be used to access an account.
    We are recommending that all users who haven't changed their passwords since 2014 do so.
    We continue to enhance our systems that detect and prevent unauthorized access to user accounts.
    We are working closely with law enforcement on this matter.
    

    Our investigation into this matter continues.

    What You Can Do

    We encourage you to follow these security recommendations:

    Change your password and security questions for any other accounts on which you used the same or similar information used for your Yahoo account.
    Review your accounts for suspicious activity.
    Be cautious of any unsolicited communications that ask for your personal information or refer you to a web page asking for personal information.
    Avoid clicking on links or downloading attachments from suspicious emails.
    

    Additionally, please consider using Yahoo Account Key, a simple authentication tool that eliminates the need to use a password altogether.
