Please re-introduce the ability to filter newsfeeds by category.
I couldn't care less about celebrity gossip or the antics of some sports team. I liked the old format where I could select the broad topic categories for my newsfeed. Scrolling through pages of banalities in order to find news I consider relevant is irksome. I've been using Yahoo as my homepage and email for over a decade. If this format sticks, I will not continue to use either.

New Home Page
I'm sorry to say, Yahoo, But I don't think your new home page is better at all. Too many colours, too many stories crammed together, the transparent bar over the sliding stories at the top also makes things hard to read. In short, the page is clutter to me and so difficult to navigate that I don't want to read the news here at all. There is absolutely no white space to give the eyes a break

Prefer Former Format
I realize that placing a story in the proper category was a challenge for Yahoo staff. The "Canada" classification always had articles grouped in it from elsewhere........if I had an address, I would send Yahoo a map. What's with all the sports, entertainment and finance stories under news? If I wanted to read those, I will go and click on that . Please bring back the old format but only after you hire someone with brains to categorize the articles.

Why would you change the homepage. This new one is cluttered, trashy and very hard on the eyes. I don't even bother reading it anymore.
Bring the old homepage back. This new one is the same as the email. Garbage ! I've been with Yahoo for many years and I'm sorry to say I'm looking for a new homepage and a new email provider.

Change the new format back to it's original format.
This one is terrible and loaded with useless advertising and pseudo-articles. Change it back to the original format and at least offer users the option to use the new format or stay with the new one. First you screwed up a perfectly good e-mail system, and now this. I hope you "yahoos" are ready these feedbacks. I give you 1 month to go back. If you insist on keeping this crapy format I'm going to MSN and their advertisers.

new password has to be so many digits and have a capital and smaller cased letters. This is ******** as i use only this account to rate news on yahoo.com I do NOT want such a complex password that no other site requires. I will not be using yahoo any longer and will go to either google or bing... thanks for nothing! also luv how i still see junk i dont want to read even after i have rated all the subjects with an x!

I absolutely hate the new yahoo email format, the fact that you cannot reply or forward to one single person on the email trail.
Bring back the old way or find a way to handle each individual email history on its own merit, do not lump all emails replies on one... sometime there is a need to forward without seeing the whole history of emails.

Home page disaster
This scroll new is too time consuming & is full of pop culture **** mixed in with real news. Weather page has no favorite cities easy view section & satellite world view is not easy to access. You became a large number of users site because of your excellent Home Page. Now you chase us away.
