Yahoo cancelled my account with Freecycle by saying their emails were spam
I am really mad at Yahoo. I have been a member of Freecycle, an online recycling and repurposing platform to reduce waste, for over 10 years. Every day I get lots of emails about household items that people in my neighbourhood no longer need and are giving away for free to save them going to waste. Obviously I am not interested in every item that is offered so I delete those emails, and I only respond to items which I would like to rehome. As a result of deleting lots of these emails it seems that Yahoo's algorithm has decided all the unwanted items are really spam, and has instructed Freecycle to delete my account, without checking with me. @&!@*&!!! I've now had to set up a new account, and I've lost connections with other Freecycle members that were on my old account together with live posts I had listed. Unbelievable behaviour from Yahoo! This Big Brother interference with my personal accounts is not acceptable.
