I would appreciate having MY location on my screen!
I have not cleared my cookies, Yahoo does not ask if the location is correct, Yahoo does not use my selected "favorites"... I'd rather have nothing over having the WRONG LOCATION!! From the looks of all the other "suggestions" on how to improve the weather, this suggestion will do no good! Ugh...

I was always able to see the location of my home town and state on the Yahoo homepage until today, 2/22.19. Now all I can see is the state, I have to manually change the location and add my zip code or city & state to get the current weather forecast. What"s happened? Unhappy with the way Yahoo randomly makes changes to it's homepage and expects users to accept it.

It keeps showing that I am in Hialeah, FL instead of West Palm Beach, FL, where I live.

Will NOT start on my location. If I have it detect my location it will correct itself, but on the next logon it will be wrong again. Why can't it "detect" the correct location by itself when I log on ? ? ?

So true, Yahoo always has the wrong location listed for me. Come on Yahoo, get it right! No matter how many times I change my location, Yahoo shows the wrong location

Does anyone from Yahoo read this? People have be complaining for months!

After all these months of incorrect data (wrong city, even wrong State) why don't you change the weather platform/sponsors. I do not need the weather for a city that is 100's of miles away. It is not the same!

Why can't this issue be resolved? I think it says I live in Oakland MI. Oakland is a city about 75 miles North of me and if it means Oakland County I don't live there either. I try to fix it but your program/programmer doesn't allow the change to stay. It is very, very irritating!!.

This Yahoo Weather behavior began 11/23 or 11/24/2018, and continued through that weekend. I was able to make changes using the "Detect My Location" pop-up dialogue box, but they didn't take effect until Monday, 11/26/2018, presumably when the Yahoo/Oath staff went back to work after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The corrections worked only for a day, then returned to the erroneous behavior of detecting my location far from here.
The Yahoo Weather and profile settings no longer include the ability to list all of the locations that I monitor, and to customize that list. Poor design change, and frustrating!
I use the Yahoo Weather that is in My Yahoo, and have for years. It is unfortunate that changes have reduced its usefulness, and accuracy. I hope Yahoo staff will fix this omission, soon.

It does seem that the wrong location on the weather app is a wide spread and ongoing issue. Actually Yahoo doesn't seem to want to correct it. We used to set our own default location, why would it be so hard to go back to that set up?

When I look at the weather on My Yahoo, it always showed my current location as Waterloo, ON, Canada, which is correct. However, now it comes up as Buffalo, New York and it will show Waterloo, ON as a second location. How can I delete Buffalo, New York?

Have the same problem. It lists St.Joseph, MO and I have NEVER lived there nor do I know anyone there. It is very irritating when you have to change location EVERY time to check my local weather!! Please fix this, it has been going on far too long.
