I love Yahoo, but i am very frustrated with your "community guidelines" for commenting on articles.I don't know why i keep getting censored. I love that Yahoo is bringing back the ability for us readers to comment on certain articles and that you incorporated "community guidelines", I'm all for it and that Yahoo staff also replies to commenters and get involved with us Yahoo users. But lately everytime I comment on an article or reply to another comment from another yahoo user, my comments get censored, and I'm just trying to understand why. I don't "swear" or use bad language, I don't argue about politics nor look to incite or start arguments, call people names, I'm not being disrespectful, etc, etc etc. You know, when I read peoples comments, some of them are so bad that I can't believe they don't get censored and mines are being censored.
Here's an idea, how about as we are typing whatever word, phrase, sentence, etc, we type (that Yahoo sees as a "problem") gets highlighted to let us know we cannot use them, and show suggestions so we can replace or commenter can come up with something different. Because I am seriously very frustrated because my comments are not bad and i have read your community guidelines and I have not violated any of them. There should also be a page where yahoo lists all words, phrases, etc, and also have various, several examples of bad comments, etc that shows the contents and explains why they got censored. I really don't know. Like I said, I've seen comments that are very angry tone, racists, derogatory, etc, etc, that don't get censored, and I'm just commenting giving an opinion or replying to another commenter not being bad and I get censored with no explanation other than the community guidelines which don't show where in my comments I failed..ugh... like I said, I love Yahoo, and also like that yahoo staff also reply to comments and get involved with us Yahoo users, that's pretty kool, and this won't stop me from continuing to support Yahoo, but i wish something can be done to improve the comment section and the community guidelines . Thank you. I'm also a customer because Yahoo is my go to email account and is also my homepage in all my electronic devices...I was going to post my email but I'm not sure if this post could be seen by everyone that comes to this page as I can see others..
