Annoying and congesting floating toolbar on yahoo pages.
Why is there no 'close' button? Hardly any of the content on the floating toolbar is useful and it takes up over 1/5th of the screen leaving a cramped feel when trying to read the news or mail or any other of yahoo's wonderful content. Get rid of the toolbar OR implement a close option to view the entire veiw of content on the page!! VERY ANNOYING

let me pick the ads I want. not just broad general categories.
I would like more control over the ads I can pick in my preferences. I only have 7 choices before i have to opt out. Let me pick and you will have better results. I don't want ANY entertainment or sports ads. I don't want ANY clothing ads. I will not buy any of that online. Give me stuff I want to buy online and I might even click. There are lots of other categories I do care about, but you will never know them. Also, this page is broken on safari. half of the page jumps around.

I have enjoyed following Yahoo Tech but it has become so bloated and slow that it is too frustrating to use. You need to pare it down.
Deal with the bloat on the site.

Quit bombarding us with the same ads over and over, day in and day out. Almost like stalking.
Give us the option to opt out of specific ads.

Need way to close articles
There used to be a large X adjacent to an article to allow you to close it and return to the main page. I can't find it any longer and I'm forced to use my Back button. That returns me to the top of the main page and I then have to scroll down to where I left off. This is very frustrating and time consuming.

I want to be able to search the reivews. but the search takes you outside yahoo tech. how come?
If I want to buy a printer-scanner-faxer there is no way to search just the yahoo tech site for your posted reviews. If you want to keep the eyes on the yahoo pages don't force me outside to the internet, let me search your content exclusively, like cnet or pcmag does. make it useful to the consumer.

Missleading homepage blurb and article.
Article for a childrens toy is spun as the next best Tesla. An image is referenced in the first sentence and yet no images are provided.
Get proofreaders. And then stop posting misleading articles. It makes you look desperate.

I wanted to post the following link to my Facebook page:
https://www.yahoo.com/tech/s/chattanooga-touts-transformation-gig-city-153438202.html#
But the genius who configured this page attributed a thumbnail for one of the ads affiliated with the page, not the photographed featured by the article itself. You web site building could stand some better editing

Make pages faster to load faster for slower computers like my 1.6 Gh processor notebook has. Not everyone has a fast computer, and it take me many times longer to do things on here. I am only able to check out 2-3 stories before getting frustrated with loading and pop-up ads and pages. I think page design and code is likely to blame in part. Pages want to include everything all at once and awe you with their intense graphics and just blow you away...I am limited time wise and tech wise to see and do as much as I'd…
