The design is ok but you can't change anything, you can only delete. You should also allow the user to put the background.
Allow user to change background. Allow user to add or change the bookmarks.

12 buttons and #1 would be to get to Google as before.
I like the flickr pics and the fact that I can hide the buttons for a different screen pic. I like how temperature appears automatically at the bottom. I just miss Google. However I put it in my menu bar. With12 buttons instead of ten I could go to the bookmarks on the Google page with one click.

Haven't found a setting which stops auto update for the weather yet. Is there? Cause it eats up data that matters in a metered connection.
Placing an option for auto-updates for weather and such in an easy-to-spot place. Thanks

Well this was not a bright idea.
I have removed the add-on, but this sucks. I used to use Yahoo to read current events, after this, I don't know if I will, I don't particularly care for being hijacked.

Please tell google that this reinforces negative public opinion about their controlling behavior
Google continues to reinforce the view that they really do want to control internet behavior of the user. This new change of placing icons on Chrome that the user does not want is a very good example of that. Please go back to the original chrome home page where the user had some control and could have icons that they used a lot rather than ones that could not be deleted.

Is there a way to make the weather snippet in the New Tab Window default to Centigrade?
I guess it would be part of settings for New Tab Window UI. Offer a default temperature setting (C or F)

I love this. It has all the tabs I frequently use, clever. Now I am only one click from where I go most of the time.
I hope we are given the option to update according to our current use for example if I begin to use a new site regularly you ask permission to add that icon to the tab screen. Or if I haven't been on a sight for an extensive period ask to delete. I don't want everyone to see my dating sites, lol.

How do I get rid of this, I do not want it and I see no way to disable it.
How do I get rid of this, I do not want it, I never use it, I hate it, and I see no way to get rid of it! It never fails, as soon as I get use to 1 thing you change it. WHY CANT YOU LEAVE SOMETHING THAT WORKS ALONE.
