Bring back the comments on ALL articles.
It is simple, bring back the comment section on all articles. I don't believe for a second you waited years and years to eliminate comments, just as people are calling out all of Yahoo's bias articles. Shameful

Please stop including videos in little boxes to the side when a page has been scrolled.
As the title states, stop including the video at the top of the page in a little box to the side. Whose dimwitted idea was this? If I want to watch a video I will leave the page where it is and I will watch it. If I don't want to watch a video or I already have then I will scroll down the page so how is it a good idea to continue showing the video as I scroll? You need to put the comments back. We have a right to make our opinions known just as you have by removing the comments with a survey. Please stop popping up comments at the bottom of the page. It blocks content. I "X" out the pop-up comments, but they just reappear.
If people want to read comments, they will go to the bottom. I am reading a story, but the comment pop-up blocks the page. At least have the system stop popping up again after I closed it out. 99% of people hate pop-ups, and that 1% is deranged. This is a new feature I believe, but it is horrible.

Make the unsubscribe suggestions be a settable option!
I really hate the suggested unsubscribe pop-up. I cannot see any way to disable it. I have looked. This "feature" is a total annoyance and constant irritation. I will look for a way to go back to the old Yahoo mail system.

how about you act as a platform and stop interfering in the expressed opinions of people. yes this means you might have to see something posted you don't like.. that's the real world. You force us to see your opinions, many that we disagree with, by the news stories and opinions you choose to present. Let's have a fair playing ground for all readers and responders.. or just close the whole page to non-paying viewers. You think I don't notice you shadow banning posts but I do.

Based on the thousands and most days 10's of thousands of comments Yahoo get on the articles daily, it is more then foolish for them to pretend they are not angering their reader base.
Since the comments have been pulled I briefly scan the article titles, open one story to see if comments are on, and once I see they are not I read my news elsewhere.

Keep the comments section open do not disable. This is a free country and we the people should be able to make comments on any news. Specially the ones that can change peoples views without them reading others peoples experience. Yahoo you are actually playing into these people that make news but no one can refute or challenge what they have said or done. You need to allow people to make their comments heard even if the community does not like it.

Yahoo stops comments 3 months prior to election to sway the 2020 election, because they see how their leftist articles are corrected by conservatives and it gives conservatives a platform to right wrongs by the Oath conglomerate (yahoo and huffpost). By excluding the comments section, Oath has a one way communications and can spew whatever lies and misinformation in an attempt to sway the 2020 election. Show me one positive article on President Trump?
