The new homepage stinks.

First you change the homepage on my phone. Now you change it on my computer. Stop trying to be avant-garde. You're just hurting your company. I implore you to change the homepage back. I always used Yahoo as my search engine. If I had free time, I would just sit and mindlessly browse the news. Now I can't do that. I guess, for now, I'm switching to Google. At least they care enough about their consumers to keep the same homepage. Also, if you'll notice, I've already changed my email provider to gmail. I hope you're prepared to lost a lot of money.

    Agreed...I will find another avenue to look at the news. Navigation is horrible and I don't like scrolling down to read articles. Too bad you're not listening to your audience and your Web Designers don't have a clue

    This is the height of arrogance. There was no reason to change it. If you want to offer people some options in the look, fine. But make it our choice and give us the option for the old format.

    And, show some balls and respond to all these comments.

    The new homepage is the worst. Who approved it? It's totally unusable. Whoever designed that new page should be fired. I'm looking for a new homepage. Thanks Yahoo

    Well, regarding my comment below, ..well..it DID work ... for a couple days anyhow
    Wow...they must've read what i wrote and figured a way to stop it from going back to the other/old format. idk. i dont know know. it DID work!! ugh

    Stop messing with the home page and listen to what your users are telling you. The new format is HORRIBLE, either change it back or I'm dropping Yahoo and going elsewhere

    I can see it now: "Comcast buys Yahoo!" By the way that you frequently change the home page to make it much less useful to people who want real news, you folks are obviously preparing for such a takeover by getting your customer service to approach Comcast standards. Please call off the merger that must be in the future! Or, if you insist on changing the Yahoo! news page, give customers a button to choose and lock in the "Classic" view.

    *****DO YOU (anyone) WANT YOUR OLD "Homepage" BACK ?? ..follow my steps..

    - Whatever "browser" you're using, FIND OUT "HOW" to "remove" the YAHOO "cookie" ..
    - Then, ...CLEAR your browser's "Web Cache" ..ok! ,,and THAT should return the old Homepage that you love!

    -- AND (as another suggestion) ...Look to see if there's a "box" in your "browser" (inside Tools/Options/Advanced or etc)...to Automatically UPDATE "Search engines" .. if you see it..then--> UN-check it!!! - ("un-tick" the box)

    I will no longer go to yahoo for my news... this homepage is terrible-I can't believe there is no option to revert to the old. How about this? For those of us who support your page, how about leaving your site the way it was or giving us an option of how we prefer to use the site. I have to say, there are many news sites out there and we obviously chose this one for a reason-for me, it was definitely the ease and convenience of the site and this is no longer the case.

    The new home page is terrible!!! It wasn't broken, so you fixed it. Now it's BROKEN. Change the homepage & comments section back to the way it was! PLEASE!!!!

    Is there an option to bring back the older Yahoo Home page, this one is not working for me, its everything i do not want,,,Thank you but it was Good initiative, Bad judgement...

    The new homepage is not a good change. It's more shine than substance. Please make an option to return to the old homepage available.

    New format just plain ol sucks. I can "like" a story but NOT dislike??? At least the old way I could remove all liberal propaganda as it appeared. Now I'm stuck with scrolling through Huffington post, salon, vox, msnbc and other total liberal propaganda sites. Was annoying before, just intolerable now.
