Improve the Comments section, Collect comments for personal account.
Yahoo should make it easier to comment on your stories,
and give comments more focus (more page space).
Also keep a better system of personal comments - (think Reddit.)
Now you can't even find your own comments/

The comments section cheapens any discussion of issues. For the sake of our nation get rid of it.

Why do you delete posts that meet your guidelines? You do do it and I now know first hand as I've seen a couple of my recent posts missing the last couple of days. I'm also certain you won't respond because many people have asked the question and you just point to your guidelines, which incidentally, you don't follow either.

You guys are so racist. What a disgrace to the US. Every comment is 95% racially charged. What guidelines do you have other than racist supporting guidelines?
Yahoo= Bigots, Neo-Nazis, evil, hatred, ignorance, White supremacy.

Please describe WHY the following comment was deleted for any reason other than MANIPULATION of the comments...: I love it when Trumplodites demonstrate their ignorance and lack of comprehension skills... just peruse through their babble and notice how many are ranting "FAKE NEWS" and base it on 2 separate articles that are about the amount of time Trump's aides have said he watches TV as they point out what they see as a discrepancy.... however for those who actually READ things before commenting... it is very clear that the first article says "at LEAST 4 hours a day"... this article says "UP TO 8 hours a day".... I am mostly pointing out these demonstrations of their lack of comprehension skills, and their propensity to mindlessly rant while ignorant of facts, as a PERFECT example of HOW we ended up with a Draft-Dodging admitted Serial Molesting Clown in Chief.... Donald Trump mirrors the collective IQ if his supporters perfectly.... the Reich-wingers will forever be known as the PARTY OF TRUMP.... he will remain their legacy for the rest of time

When you use "Comments", You can see what other articles you also made comments on and see replies --- With "View Reactions" ... You are only limited to one article ... you can't see replies from the others ... so people can't get to them unless they remember all ... Stay With "Comments" ... that kind of works.

I've posted many a comment and a minute later it dissappears. Why are you deleting comments that don't fit your agenda yahoo?

The comments are so horrible. People are full of hate. Please don't show them unless they are clicked on.

Your postings of any article lately are filled with comments from racist members. your TOS information states that you would attempt to stop this but lately it seems you have helped continue racism in fact The list of commenters is the same day in and day out.
I wish to let you know that if this continues I will be setting up some contacts with the ACLU to review your articles and report this to a verified news source. -

Why are you not letting some people post? Clearly you must not like my opinions, because I'm one of them.... We need a real time costumer service button for people that this type of stuff happens..

Yahoo is the first place I check when getting online for news. With now showing the comments underneath a featured article I slammed with offensive comments about race, gender, and many more. I would really like if you stop placing the comments under articles but at least you can moni

You are at it again censoring comments. Zero thumbs up or down for last week and a half the minute I complain I start getting feedback, when it reaches the 40-50 mark you throw the switch. Pre election those numbers often went over 100, ever since you have put the clamps on it. STOP being a bunch of sulking babies.

It seems that you have found it appropriate to censor someone's right to reply to comments others have made to their own posts in the comments sections. Is this selective? I get “An error has occurred; please try again later.” Consistently when trying to reply to someone else’s replies to my comment. Have you selected me for this treatment? If so you are discriminating against me for my political beliefs and it is reprehensible. In this age of the repulsive president the fact that you would censor anyone is beyond the pale.

Sure, we can see our comment history, but can't follow who we replied to, which makes that part of it useless.

The comments section has become a platform for racists and bullies. Most of the comments have nothing to do with the news stories. Yahoo! has done nothing to regulate hateful comments. If people want to comment on something then they can share it on their social media accounts.

Please stop force-feeding comments over an article. Most are trash that I don't want to read any way.

Please disable comments completely, as most of us were told by our mothers or teachers if you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all. Lately, nearly every time I come to yahoo as I have for 7+ years I see comments that are racially motivated, usually speaking negative about black people. And nearly every time I consider writing responses to this obvious bigotry. Only to say it's not even worth the time or negative energy, and that's the big thing if every single time I come to this website I am made to feel like less than a person. Less than an American, we are all humans that come to this site for various reasons. I come for information, however if I continue to see yahoo putting these obviously racist comments on the front page of the leading article everyday, I will need to start visiting other websites for my daily news. I would encourage ALL minorities to do the same! Please disable comments or have a team to monitor the comments and delete comments that are deemed hateful, other wise yahoo is just another breeding ground for the hatered that has taken over a once beautiful country!

I'd like to know why you keep randomly deleting innocuous posts of mine. I post a comment that adheres to your "guidelines" and it is automatically trashed right off the bat. Explain that to me?
